Trump continues to lie that tariffs are money from other countries that go to the U.S.

He did make a Freudian slip after the California wild fires when he said he might make an exception for import tariffs on building materials for the state so that items wouldn't be as expensive, which acknowledges that Americans pay for his tariffs.

If the helicopter had been flying 100 feet lower like it should have been, it would have missed colliding with the passenger jet by 100 feet. That doesn't seem like a regular, acceptable risk margin.

Inject all of Trump's non-stop chaos and uncertainty into 100-foot safety margins and see what happens.

 

Not to worry. Trump will fix it with Musk's 19-year-old underlings who have been given the keys to the private files of all the government agencies so that they can dispose of all workers and programs related to DEI, real or perceived, that Trump publicly said he thinks compromise air traffic control.

Trump said publicly at a news gathering that he thinks Musk's young underlings would be better air traffic controllers.

Musk can hire 19-year-olds out of Trump University Flight School to handle U.S. aviation.

That's a thought for the public to ponder while boarding their next flight.

 

For the unlucky ones on a plane that's going down due to Trump, they can blurt out "Yay! Hannibal Lecter! He's a great guy!"

It appears Trump will try to dismantle the Education Department by transferring portions of it to the Treasury Department where it can be financially dismantled by Musk who has access to the fiscal apparatus.

Those issues were supposedly settled during Trump's first term when his team edited NAFTA which was renamed USMCA.

"Canada has been very tough for oil on energy. They don't allow our farm products in, essentially. They don't allow a lot of things in. And we allow everything to come in as being a one-way street."

“We pay hundreds of Billions of Dollars to SUBSIDIZE Canada. Why? There is no reason. We don’t need anything they have. ……. Therefore, Canada should become our Cherished 51st State. Much lower taxes, and far better military protection for the people of Canada — AND NO TARIFFS!”
