"The Pacific" About the Marines in WW-II in the South Pacific. I've watched it at least 12 times.

The Claim. A story set in 1867 about a man who sells his wife and child back in 1849 for a few gold pieces and a claim. The claim produced and made him rich. He builds a town owning most everything and becomes wealthier. Until his wife shows up some 17 years later with the daughter he sold along with a railroad surveyor. The surveyor looks for a path for the railroad and decides to lay it elsewhere. BTW, there is a madam and brothel in the story which complicates things. I'll leave it at that for you to watch and see how this all unfolds.

I think Band of Brothers is the best series I ever watched (the Wire next). I remember feeling disappointed with the Pacific when I first saw it I guess because I compared the 2 series. Then I re-watched it again a couple of years later and thought, this was pretty good. It gets better for me with each viewing.

Been binge watching Yellowstone, the Taylor Sheridan and Kevin Costner production. It's rather far fetched as legal dodging goes but entertaining anyway. Of course I'm now in love with Beth Dutton especially after the way she fucked Rip and then sassed his cock after. Then later on we see her, Kelly Reilley, playing in the water trough nude.

I loved him in Hatfield's and Mcoy's plus it helped the fact that it was based on true events as told by one of the surviving Hatfield's I believe. That was a pretty wild movie and crazy to think how different everything was just over a hundred years ago.

The parallels are too compelling and numerous to ignore.

I've always loved going to the movies ever since I was a little boy. I'll never forget going to see this movie with my dad. Definitely not the type of movie he would ever watch, but I remember him laughing through it.
