Bob Seger's lyrics were boss. That line, "Workin' on mysteries without any clues"... reminds me how my mind worked, and often failed, when I was 13-14, dealing with infatuations. No sex yet, although her sexiness was definitely one of the mysteries. And then first pussy was something else entirely.

Ah yes, so many failures as a teenager. And stupid promises. I'm old enough to remember discussing the latest date results as to how for one got. First base or second. Maybe third or all the way home. Speaking of using baseball references for how the date went here's another sex song without the vulgarity but filled with innuendo. Meatloaf (aka Michael Lee Aday) and Ellen Foley singing "Paradise By The Dashboard Light".

And all the kids at school
They were wishing they were me that night
And now our bodies are oh so close and tight
It never felt so good, it never felt so right

Though it's cold and lonely in the deep dark night
I can see paradise by the dashboard light
    Ain't no doubt about it
    We were doubly blessed
    'Cause we were barely seventeen
    And we were barely dressed

So open up your eyes I got a big surprise
    It'll feel all right
Well I wanna make your motor run

We're gonna go all the way
    And tonight's the night...

Then the Phil Rizzuto call of getting around the bases with moans and groans in the background is priceless.
it's gonna be close, holy cow, I think he's gonna make it!

But right the Ellen sings out
    Stop right there!
    I gotta know right now!
    Before we go any further!
    Do you love me?

    Followed by him singing
    Let me sleep on it
Baby, baby let me sleep on it

Until he can't stand it any longer and makes a promise which in the end he wishes the End Of Time would come.

Ray Charles was ahead of his time? Wonder how many radio stations refused to play songs like that one.

I declare she can mess around...

An old jazz song written way back in the 1930's. Good Morning Little Schoolgirl. Covered by quite a few bands including The Grateful Dead.

"Good morning little schoolgirl, can I come home with you?
Tell your mama and your papa I'm a little schoolboy too.
Come on now pretty baby I just can't help myself
You're so young and pretty I don't need nobody else."

But when covered by Ten Years After they altered the lyrics as such.

    "Good morning, little schoolgirl
Can I go home, home with you?
Tell your mama and your papa
    Big be schoolboy, too
    Yeah
    I wanna ball you, yeah
Baby, I wanna ball you all night long
    Yes, I do
    Baby, I wanna ball you
I wanna ball you all night long"

Did John Lee Hooker also do that song? The lyrics sound very familiar and I can almost hear his voice singing those opening lines. Maybe he sang it a little differently, maybe a little more subtle.

Yep. I've thought about posting it, but his version was a little less than the original. And Muddy Waters laid down this great Delta Blues version at Chess Records in... 1963? It was on a few albums, hard to track exactly when a particular version was recorded. These lyrics (from his album "Hoochie Coochie Man") were a little more direct than other versions:

    Good morning little schoolgirl.
    Good morning little schoolgirl.
Can I go home with you?
Won't you let me go home with you
So I can hug, hug, squeeze, squeeze?
If you let me I can tease you baby.
    Hey, hey hey hey...

This one's a little less sexual:

One line in this sweet little song -- sweet with a lean toward "Natural Born Killers" -- end of verse 2. That's all we get, but a good imagination carries it right on through.

I dont expect your folks to
    To understand
They just can't see you like I do
Naked in an air-conditioned motel room

From way back in 1969 Led Zepplin recorded "Whole Lotta Love". Sexual insinuations abound with in the lyrics. A lot of oohs and ahs as if there is sex happening. Example from verse three:
"You've been cooling, baby, I've been drooling
All the good times baby I've been misusing
Way, way down inside, I'm gonna give you my love
I'm gonna give you every inch of my love"

Near the end a bridge (that's music talk for a change in pace).
"Way down inside... woman... you need... love"

    And the Outgo is:
    "Shake for me, girl
I wanna be your backdoor man"

    Have a listen here:

    Bad boy ;):kissingheart:

Oh yes, that's my #2 favorite Zeppelin song and I always thought that there was more meaning to those lyrics than most people think about.

Whisper by Chase Rice or Black by Dierks Bentley. They are a little more sensual .

    Especially the line
"Way, way down inside, I'm gonna give you my love
I'm gonna give you every inch of my love"

I've often felt this meant deep penetration and release into her vagina.

I've always felt what we call Classis Rock and Roll touched on sex more than any other genre of music. Especially before the corporations grabbed control.

Same here. And like SantaCruzRob mentioned above, I never realized how explicit Aerosmith could get with some of their lyrics.

Ever watch the Series "Vinyl"? The one about the record industriy, one season, about 10 episodes IIRC. Talk about corporate bullshit. I've been wanting to watch it again but Amazon's got their greedy paws on it for now.
