Mike Lee has descended to Trump's level.

Lee posted a sarcastic 'Nightmare On Waltz Street" to mock the shooting deaths.

    He misspelled it as 'Waltz.'

    The governor's name is Walz.

Trump and other Republicans mock Democrats after Minnesota lawmaker killings

    excerpt:

"The spread of outlandish falsehoods and conspiracy theories on social media has been a hallmark of the atmosphere Trump has brought to US politics over the past decade, and Lewis believes the country is now at a point where such fabrications have more prominence than politicians’ carefully written statements.

“The real problem now is that nothing matters, and I think that has been realized by the mainstream right in this country. There are no consequences for peddling disinformation or conspiracies,” he said."

Trump and Giuliani accidentally called Sen. Mike Lee of Utah during Trump's riot at the Capitol. They meant to call Tuberville.

Lee ended the call because lawmakers were being led to safe areas to avoid Trump's rioters.

Lee will probably blame Trump's riot on communists like he did the shooting deaths of MN legislator Hortman and her husband.

It may be a permanent problem for the U.S. now that Trump has made it mainstream.

Truther narratives that were once confined to obscure web forums have now become mainstream in U.S. politics and policy. The line between reality and fantasy is blurred.

Mahdawi was released from ICE custody and graduated from Columbia.

Mohsen Mahdawi, released from Ice custody, graduates from Columbia

    excerpt:

"The Palestinian activist was arrested by immigration authorities in Colchester, Vermont, while attending a naturalization interview. He was detained and ordered to be deported by the Trump administration on 14 April despite not being charged with a crime.

Mahdawi, 34, who was draped in a keffiyeh, received a standing ovation as he walked across the stage. He blew a kiss and bowed, one video showed. Then he joined a vigil just outside Columbia’s gates, raising a photograph of his classmate Mahmoud Khalil, who remains in federal custody."

Based on what Trump said about Pelosi's husband being struck in the head and his skull fractured by an intruder, Trump and his associates can be expected to say that the latest shooting deaths of MN legislator Hortman and her husband were really break-outs rather than break-ins and that the shooter was just trying to protect himself from the Democrats.

Musk made truther statements online similar to Trump about the attack on Pelosi's husband. Musk made a vague remark that he thought there was more to the story.

Trump’s focus on blue state deportation belies a red state problem
His allies acknowledge Republicans are divided on how to handle undocumented labor in the agriculture industry — and Trump himself has listened to both sides.

Trump’s focus on blue state deportation belies a red state problem

    excerpt:

"For months, the president has promised to deport millions of undocumented immigrants across the country. But last week, as immigration enforcement hit rural communities — with raids at farms in California, a meatpacking plant in Nebraska, a dairy in New Mexico, and elsewhere — he was faced with rare criticism from Republican lawmakers and a spooked agriculture sector already reeling from economic headwinds, trade uncertainty and labor shortages."

NBC evening national news used to do a regular segment called The Fleecing Of America in the 1990's.

The examples were mild compared to what Trump is doing,.

In the 1980's, people would complain about overpriced hammers being used in the military.

    Times have changed greatly.

Trump is orders of magnitude beyond anyone else, yet the public seems to have becomne numb to it.

    Article from March 2010.

    https://www.floods.org/whats-new/asfpm-comments-on-nbc-news-fleecing-of-america/

    excerpt:

"The March 16th broadcast of NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams did a Fleecing of America report on “How some Americans are being FORCED to buy flood insurance”. This report expressed some concerns with FEMA and the NFIP for flood maps that could end up requiring flood insurance on some new properties. FEMA is currently in the process of updating the nation’s flood hazard maps so that they will more accurately depict current flood risk. These new maps will portray the true flood risk and hence may require flood insurance for some properties that were not previously shown to be at risk."

People today don't have to worry anymore about possibly being required to buy flood insurance as a result of FEMA. Trump says he's dismantling FEMA after the 2025 hurricane season.

They won't have FEMA at all to assist in disasters. It'a already happening. Even Trump's supporters are complaining that state and local governments are helping them after disasters but FEMA is not present.

‘This is the looting of America’: Trump and Co’s extraordinary conflicts of interest in his second term

    excerpt:

Chris Murphy, the Democratic US senator from Connecticut, has delivered two long speeches on the floor of his chamber in which he has itemised Trump and Co’s most controversial transactions. The record already stretches to scores of entries, chronicling what Murphy calls Trump’s “efforts to steal from the American people to enrich himself and his friends”.

In an interview with the Guardian, the senator said that Trump’s was a “pay-for-play administration. That’s the underlying theme. You pay Donald Trump money, he does favors for you. That’s old-fashioned corruption.”

Clark’s analysis is even more pointed. “People talk about ‘guardrails’ and ‘norms’ and ‘conflict of interest’, which is all very relevant,” she said. “But this is theft and destruction. This is the looting of America.”

Trump's conflicts of interest expand faster than we can follow! And that's just what is obvious!

How about his new Trump phone?
He's touting it as an iPhone 15 equivalent, but it's just a low end android phone. You can get a plan thru Trump via the main telecoms, but, oh, ya gotta pay more of course! $47 a month, guess why...

Ah but you get more! More bullshit to make you think it's worth more... Of course it's gold colored. Only $499 for a cheap android phone that they put a different cover on.

It seems every conflict is also a scam to fleece his flock.

NYC mayoral candidate detained by ICE.

New York City Comptroller Brad Lander arrested at an immigration court

    excerpt:

Kat Capossela, Lander's mayoral campaign press secretary, told NBC News in an email that “Brad was taken by masked agents and detained by ICE,” a reference to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, after “escorting a defendant out of immigration court." And Lander's wife, Meg Barnette, during a press conference shortly after her husband’s arrest, criticized the Trump administration's handling of cases involving immigrants.

In a brief statement on social media detailing the charges against Lander, the Department of Homeland Security said: "It is wrong that politicians seeking higher office undermine law enforcement safety to get a viral moment. No one is above the law, and if you lay a hand on a law enforcement officer, you will face consequences."

Lander is running in next week’s Democratic primary for mayor of New York City.

Yes. Lavish oceanfront mansions in NJ cashing in on FEMA grift. Accommodating local government addicted to high taxes from waterfront properties. All casing in on Uncle Sam.
