If the board members of Tesla were independent and rational, they would have aleady replaced Musk as the CEO.

At some point, for the better interest of the company and shareholders, the board needs to come to the realization that the CEO has become deranged. If his derangement can't be cured, it's time for someone else to be brought in.

Musk is another in a line of those who succumbed to Trump (Giuliani, Eastman, Meadows, Parnas, Fruman, Powell, Lindell, Ellis, Bobb, and others).

Those who have succumbed to Trump haven't admitted to their disorder and haven't made a better life for themselves. Perhaps the only one who did was a grandmother, Hemphill, who rioted for Trump at the Capitol, admitted she was wrong, and rejected Trump's pardon.

Trump's pardoning spree of his rioters cost the public and victims of their crimes $1.3 billion.

Trump’s Pardoning Spree Cost Victims and Taxpayers More Than $1 Billion

    excerpt:

“With a far greater financial effect, President Trump’s pardon spree has also swept in big-time corporate fraudsters, millionaire tax evaders, and other white-collar criminals. Thanks to President Trump’s pardons, these convicted criminals now get to keep $1.3 billion in ill-gotten gains they stole from their victims and American taxpayers.”

    It's even worse.

Trump wants his rioters to be given monetary rewards for their rioting.

The value of the dollar is dropping. What does that mean for Americans and the world?

    excerpt:

Americans hoping to vacation abroad this summer could be in for a rude surprise.

Traveling through parts of Southern Europe used to be a way to get more bang for your buck because of the strong value of the dollar, but things have changed over the last few months. The value of the dollar has plunged about 9% since January, with a 4.5% drop in April alone.

The price of gold increased from about $2600 per ounce to about $3400 this year. It's expected to be about $3,675/oz in the fourth quarter of 2025.

The uncertainty in the markets that Trump has caused has led to higher bond yields to try to attract people who have lost confidence in the government and to higher gold prices as people try to invest in what is considered to be a safer haven.

In the past, people have had confidence in U.S. bonds when faced with market uncertainty or downturns. It isn't happening this time. Higher bond yields works against the government borrowing money from people to finance the national debt and with the hopes of it being paid off down the road.

Lower dollar value and Trump's trade wars are a double-hit on consumers who voted Trump back into office with the expectation that he would lower prices quickly.

Trump has said that the public has to endure some pain before he can bring them his promised lower prices in the long run. He didn't make such remarks pre-2024 election. He said the lower prices would start on day one of his second term in office.

Trump said the supposed magnificent U.S. Army is going to "fight, fight, fight and win, win, win."

It didn't look like it judging by the appearance of the parade.

Trump should have had the troops skipping down the street while playing the Village People's YMCA on kazoos.

Rachel Maddow: 'Sad' and 'small' Trump is now a 'laughingstock on the world stage'

    excerpt:

“So for a would-be strongman, he’s not strong,” Maddow concluded. “He’s a remarkably weak and feckless political figure who is nevertheless trying to overthrow the American form of government while pushing incredibly unpopular policies and executing everything incredibly poorly with a laughingstock full of a terribly, terribly staffed administration and Cabinet.”

According to Maddow, that’s good news for Trump’s opposition: “Everybody against him is getting stronger and more confident; everybody with him is starting to get a little worried about how long they can stay with him.”

For his parade, Trump missed an opportunity for Hegseth to repeat his MTV Jackass style stunt he did on Fox TV years ago when he threw an axe at a bullseye target, missed it completely, and hit a military drummer that was part of a squad to add galmour to the stunt.

Trump saw Hegseth on Fox hosting a show. He liked his anti-woke rhetoric, so he made him in charge of the entire military. The GOP in the Senate gave him what he wanted, like they did with RFK Jr. to run the entire health department and various other unqualified people to run other deparments.

Apparently, Stephen Miller overrode Trump this time.

Or Trump just changed his mind again and chickened out to Miller after chickening out to GOP politicians who complained about their constituents and their own businesses being hurt by the ICE raids..

Those who have worked with Trump say that he usually sides with the last person with whom he spoke.

Maybe Trump will change his mind again in a couple days.

TACO renegs on his Tik Tok ban. Gives it another 90 days. Ooooh it must be really dangerous to Americans if the Chinese can continue monitoring us for 3 more months. That's really showing them!!!
