This is like going back to the post-9/11 years when Bush was claiming the U.S. needed to defend itself from Saddam. Only Johnson is using it to promote cuts to Medicaid.

Trump could potentially have years worth of ability to quickly and without due process deport people to third world countries and ones that aren't their countries of origin.

The U.S. Supreme Court is allowing him to do so until the matter is resolved in the courts which could take years.

He will impede the deportation court cases like he has other cases to run out the clock in his favor so that due process continues to be bypassed.

 

He wiggled out of the federal criminal cases against him with the help of the conservatives on the U.S. Supreme Court who gave him a blanket of presidential immunity.

Judge Canon in FL ran interference for Trump by using his rope-a-dope delay tactic for a year and a half and eventually threw out the federal documents case in its entirety after Justice Thomas said he thought Jack Smith didn't have the authority to be special counsel.

 

It shows how justice can be trashed by a few people on the Supreme Court (three appointed by Trump) and one judge in Florida (who was appointed by Trump).
