I was watching that and the instant he said that I thought...ooooh......Careful Jimmy...you're walking a thin line toward cancellation.

I was amused that the media was blathering on about the trigger man "was cohabitating with a transgender male"... WTF does that have to do with anything? Would they have reported that he was cohabitating with fully heterosexual female?

    .......................................................................................

Intent to Occupy is part of the initial Loan Application. Any statement at closing is merely to re-affirm that said on Application.
Pricing for an investment property ( Points and rate ) are determined at application.

A Loan Officer / Underwriter never reviews a Power of Attorney.
Prior to Closing, the unsigned, P.O.A. is reviewed by the Closing Dept. and approved. It must be specific to the closing and then recorded with the closing papers at the County Clerk.
The closing instructions from the Lender will legally bind the Settlement Agent / Attorney. The closing instructions will reference any P.O.A. to be used. Lenders will have a legal claim against the Settlement Agent if not followed/ accounted for.

The ABC News article is poorly written,

FNMA/FHLMC rarely rarely call out loans for occupancy issues. Unless the Borrower has many, many, properties. This is a fishing expedition.

Bill Pute doesn't know what he is talking about and may be unqualified for his job.

He is also all over Fed Guv: Lisa Cooke. He missed that it was declared a 2nd home ( Vacation property)

Injunction filed to stop Trump from sabotaging New England wind power.

Neronha, Conn. AG file injunction to resume Revolution Wind construction | ABC6

    excerpt:

    "Miles O’Brien:

So, the big picture here, Amna, is that there's wind projects out there, about a half-a-dozen of them, including this one, which ultimately represent enough power to generate electricity for 11 million homes up and down the Eastern Seaboard by 2030. That was the Biden administration goal.

But the Trump administration simply cannot tolerate wind. The president is a longtime opponent of it from the time when a wind turbine or a series of them were installed off his golf course in Scotland. So the country and this region in particular is at an energy turning point. This is cheap electricity. In many cases, it's built. And many people here are wondering what the logic is in leaving those pylons just standing there rusting in the ocean."

Kimmel summarized some of Trump's public remarks about wanting people he doesn't like shot.

Jimmy Kimmel claims Charlie Kirk assassin is affiliated with ‘MAGA’ despite reports of being far-left

    excerpt:

He added, “The man who told a crowd of supporters that maybe the Second Amendment people should do something about Clinton. The man who said he wouldn’t mind if someone shot through the fake news media. The man who unleashed a mob on the Capitol and said Liz Cheney should face nine barrels shooting at her for supporting his opponent, blames the radical left for their rhetoric.”

Immigration judge in Louisiana orders Khalil deported.

Immigration judge orders Mahmoud Khalil deported to Syria or Algeria - POLITICO

    excerpt:

"For more than three months earlier this year, Khalil was held in detention in Louisiana after the Trump administration arrested him, invoking a rarely used provision of immigration law that allows the government to deport any noncitizen — even a legal resident — if the secretary of State determines that the person’s continued presence harms U.S. foreign policy interests."

That tactic didn't work for Trump in the courts.

The Trump administration formulated another approach to deport him: that he didn't fully disclose his previous employers and groups to which he was a member when he applied for his green card.

Kimmel could have offered his condolences to Kirk and it would have been an excuseenough to suspend his show. Trumpworld would have said it wasn't sincere and it was sarcastic and mean.

Nexstar is trying to get on the good side of Trump and his FCC for a desired acquisition of more TV stations to its collection that requires the FCC changing the rules and increasing the maximum percentage of TV stations that can be owned.

By Nexstar bashing Kimmel, it stokes the ego of Trump and earns it brownie points.

CBS went through this same saga. A merger of Skydance and Paramount required FCC approval. They disposed of Colbert to get on the good side of Trump for approval by his FCC, although CBS denies this and attributes it to TV ratings.

Nexstar has purchased many TV stations.

It purchased The Hill in 2021 whose stories, previously considered middle of the road, have since slanted toward the right by a noticeable amount.

Nexstar is based in Irving, TX near Dallas-Fort Worth, which is highly Trump and a hot spot for his Jan. 6 rioters (similar to the atmosphere in Tampa, FL).

Americans fell for it in the 2024 election.

    https://www.nytimes.com/2025/09/17/opinion/trump-economy-deportation-inflation.html

    excerpt:

"The essence of President Trump’s pitch to the American people last year was simple: They could have it both ways.

They could have a powerful, revitalized economy and “mass deportations now.” They could build new factories and take manufacturing jobs back from foreign competitors as well as expel every person who, in their view, didn’t belong in the United States. They could live in a “golden age” of plenty — and seal it away from others outside the country with a closed, hardened border.

Trump told Americans that there were no trade-offs. As the saying goes, they could have their cake and eat it, too. Even better, eating the cake would, on its own, produce more cake — no need for new ingredients or the skill, time and labor necessary to make something new."

Someone in Trump's administration seems to have just realized this.

Trump retroactively released a formal written statement begging for the S. Korean workers he arrested and kicked out of the country to come back and train American workers for the factories that are being funded and built by S. Korea.

Trump (ten steps ahead of everyone) should have realized this before kicking them out, but Stephen Miller has too much mind power over him.

Humor cartoon or sketch. Hundreds of S. Korean workers in chains trying to train MAGA fans who have their faces painted orange like Trump.

    https://www.showbiz411.com/2025/09/...-cancelled-urges-nbc-to-end-jimmy-fallon-show

    excerpt:

"When Stephen Colbert was cancelled — at Trump’s urging through new Paramount CBS owner David Ellison — Trump predicted that Kimmel would be next. He knew in July this was going to happen.

This is the same Trump who shook down CBS and ABC in lawsuits for millions of dollars. They caved to him and once that blackmail worked Trump was in charge.

Meantime, when CNN’s Brian Stelter emailed FCC chairman and Trump lackey Brendan Carr about Carr instigating the Kimmel suspension, Carr responded with a GIF from “The Office” of characters celebrating.

This is the world we live in now thanks not just to MAGA but to Democrats and Independents who voted for Trump. This means you, Brian Grazer."

Opinion | There's a cost to the way Muriel Bowser is trying to play the game with Trump

    excerpt:

"The reality is Bowser faces unique constraints as mayor of D.C. — the president has a lot of power to authorize federal law enforcement in D.C., and Congress oversees governance of the city. Moreover, as NBC News reports, “Bowser is at a disadvantage at a time when her administration is fighting to get Congress and Trump to reverse course on a law enacted this year that froze $1 billion in city money."

Bowser’s thinking might be that by behaving cooperatively and playing along she can avoid picking a fight with Trump or with Republicans in Congress who could try to extend Trump’s takeover of policing in D.C. and block funding for the city. She’s perhaps hoping that short-term pain will lead to potential longer-term gain."

Schiff proposes reforms to limit Trump's power: 'Necessity even greater now'

    excerpt:

The bill would also create the "Stop Millionaires Using Service for Kickbacks' Act," which would amend the federal conflicts of interest statute to require government employees to recuse themselves from any matters affecting the financial interests of previous employers from a four-year period prior. As it's MUSK acronym alludes to, is meant to respond to billionaire Elon Musk's designation as special government employee in the beginning of Trump's term, which allowed him to be covered by a federal conflicts-of-interest statute that prohibits government employees from participating in matters that would affect their financial interests.
