Later in the 2024 campaign season, Wiles was able to limit his cruel, insane insults (of the type like the recent post-election one about Reiner's murder) just enough so that the public could hold its nose while it voted for him once again to put him back in office. Wiles was at Trump's 2024 rallies acting like a high school chaperone, walking up toward him so that he noticed her, and putting the brakes on him when his insults became too much even for some of Trump's supporters.

Trump use of The Alien Enemies Act Alien Enemies Act: The 1798 law Trump used to deport migrants excerpt: Katherine Yon Ebright, counsel at the Brennan Center for Justice, said that Trump's use of the Alien Enemies Act was illegal. "The only reason to invoke such a power is to try to enable sweeping detentions and deportations of Venezuelans based on their ancestry, not on any gang activity that could be proved in immigration proceedings", she added. Venezuela criticised Trump's use of the act, saying it "unjustly criminalises Venezuelan migration" and "evokes the darkest episodes in the history of humanity, from slavery to the horror of the Nazi concentration camps".

Trump concocts numerous excuses. The construction underground isn't visible and therefore supposedly not subject to being judged by other groups. The area under the East Wing that was destroyed included Trump's underground post. So now it's a matter of national security to finish it without interference from anyone. Trump said the East Wing wouldn't be modified, let alone demolished. He demolished it. The whole project is on White House grounds, which supposedly makes Trump exempt from being held accountable by any other group.
Megyn Kelly's sadistic remarks. https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/2025/12/trump-rob-reiner/685280/ excerpt: Last month, Kelly spoke with the journalist Mark Halperin about American military strikes in the Caribbean, targeting boats that the Trump administration alleges carry “narco-terrorists” coming from Venezuela. She claimed the boats were carrying fentanyl, even though fentanyl does not come through the Caribbean. And then she weighed in on reports that two people who were clinging to the wreckage of an initial boat strike waved their arms toward the drone before they were killed in a follow-up strike. “I really do kind of not only want to see them killed in the water, whether they’re on the boat or in the water, but I’d really like to see them suffer,” she said. “I would like Trump and Hegseth to make it last a long time so they lose a limb and bleed out.”
Trump will be on screen tomorrow. He may lay out an indictment of Venszuela in anticipation of military action.
https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/2025/12/trump-rob-reiner/685280/ excerpt: "Heraclitus taught that character is destiny. In Trump’s case, his sociopathy is destiny. His narcissism; his lack of conscience, remorse, or empathy; his pathological lying and grandiosity; his sense of entitlement, impulsivity, and aggression; his cruelty, predatory behavior, and sadism—these are the forces that drive him. If we don’t understand that, we understand almost nothing of importance about him. And beware: When a man with Trump’s personality feels caged in, when he feels besieged and abandoned and begins to lose control of events, he becomes more desperate and more dangerous."
Trump's inferno of hate is intensifying. https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/2025/12/trump-rob-reiner/685280/ excerpt: "None of this should be surprising. In 2015, Trump, a draft dodger, said that Republican Senator John McCain, a decorated Navy pilot who was a prisoner of war in Vietnam for more than five years, was “not a war hero.” Trump said McCain was only considered a hero “because he was captured,” adding, “I like people that weren’t captured.” He kept criticizing McCain even after the Arizona senator died. And during a political rally in 2019, he suggested that the late John Dingell, a Democrat who was the longest-serving member of Congress in American history, was looking up from hell. (Trump held a grudge against Dingell’s widow, Debbie, who succeeded her husband in the House.) He has made hundreds, maybe even thousands, of similar comments over the past decade. But if anything, Trump’s barbarity is getting worse, not better. As he ages, his inferno of hate intensifies."
Trump's border patrol arrested about 150 people at a night club in San Antonio, TX in November 2025. Some of the businesses in the area had to move because people were too afraid to return after the raid. Related to the Jack Smith report and Trump trying to stop its release. Trump gave Walt Nauta a seat on the U.S. Naval Academy in March 2025. Nauta was Trump's valet at the White House during his first term and at Mar-a-Lago. Nauta was charged with violating the Espionage Act for his involvement and was a co-defendant of Trump in Jack Smith's documents case. The item is described as a “political satire condom” in the National Museum of American History’s online collection."
Another Trump 'Sir' story. Trump said last week that young women in DC are saying to him, 'Sir, thank you for keeping me safe.'
Trump’s Venezuelan Oil Tanker Seizure May Not Be What It Seems excerpt: "Trump has wavered, and never spoken with more than a vague menace, about whether he really will move to overthrow Maduro. Last month, he pronounced Venezuelan airspace “closed,” then backed away from the stance. He has talked a few times about invading Venezuela with ground troops, though this would be difficult without first securing a nearby base. Last month he in fact played down the possibility of going to war with Venezuela—though at this week’s news conference, where he announced the seizure of the tanker, he cryptically said, “Other things are happening.” Back in October, he said that he’d ordered the CIA to launch “covert operations” against Maduro’s regime—though saying so out loud takes the “c” out of “covert.” At times “strategic ambiguity” can be a useful tool for coercing foes to act in certain ways or even to step down from power. But Trump is spawning mere confusion. It’s hard for anyone to know just what he wants, or how much he’d spend or risk to get it done. It’s quite possible that he doesn’t know himself."
Trump picked a military fight with Venezuela. It's his fight to win or to walk away. Bombing small boats isn't a win in the public's eye. Trump picked a trade fight with China. China didn't give in, even as major stock indices dropped 20% during the heat of Trump's fight earlier in the year. Trump backed off in the spring and again in late 2025. Trump picked a fight with the Pulitzer board that is now demanding his tax returns and prescription medication prescriptions during the discovery phase of the legal suit to assess his claimed financial and emotional injuries. It's Trump's fight to win or walk away.
Trump says U.S. prices are "coming down tremendously." Here's what the data shows. excerpt: "As of June, nearly one in 20 U.S. households was seriously behind on their utility bills, according to a report from The Century Foundation, a nonpartisan think tank, and advocacy group Protect Borrowers. Over the last three years, the average overdue balance on utility bills climbed from $597 to $789, a 32% jump, the groups found."
