Willmar Mayor Doug Reese says he's urging residents to stay calm and to respect one another to keep the community safe.

Trump says it's time for Denmark to give Greenland back to the U.S., as if the U.S. once owned it and it was stolen from the U.S. by Denmark.

Trump makes the same remarks about Venezuelan oil.

 

Trump will probably have the Smithsonian Institute write history his way by saying he was the one who received the Nobel Peace Prize, not Machado.

He can also scrub the website of any reference to other presidents and vice presidents who received the prize (Obama, Carter, Gore, Wilson).

Miller says that no one is going to come to the aid of Greenland militarily anyway.

Therefore, the U.S. should just steal Greenland.

 

Trump says the ownership of Greenland is a personal psychological issue for him. He says he has to own it in order to feel completely comfortable with making the effort to protect it.

Trump used real estate as an example. He said one doesn't defend the property unless one owns it.

In 2016 people said Trump's real estate acumen would make him a great president.

 

Gov. Walz activated the National Guard but hasn't deployed them to the streets.

President Donald Trump took the unusual step on Friday of commending the Iranian government for not following through on executions of what he said was meant to be hundreds of political prisoners.

"Iran canceled the hanging of over 800 people," Trump told reporters while leaving the White House to spend the weekend at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida. He added "and I greatly respect the fact that they canceled."

 

Thank goodness the government of Iran says it is canceling the hangings of 800 people after reportedly killing as many as 12,000 protesters.

It allowed Trump to return to Mar-a-Lago and relax.

 

It gives Trump an opportunity to contend that he deserves a Nobel Peace Prize because he supposedly prevented 800 hangings after as many as 12,000 people had already been killed that he did nothing to prevent after saying he would.

 

One of his 1st term pardons was someone I knew. This person was a top lieutenant at Stratton Oakmont, an inveterate con man and general shit bird who stole millions from gullible and elderly victims.

He was sentenced to 85 years, which seemed excessive but should never have been pardoned.

He and his skanky wife were like monkeys driving Bentleys.

 

Trump pardoned Shapiro and Stitsky on December 23, 2020.

The most sleazy pardons are usually left for last.
