TNP needs a vacation?

 

False, I have done so much for everyone in my life for so long, now that I am living alone it almost feels like a vacation. Plus, I have never had a real vacation as an adult, tried once but it was kind of a disaster, so I guess I just don't know what I'm missing, lol.

True…since I was about 5, I have been blessed with a very well developed sense of geography and knowing where I was on the earth. Really served me well as a forester in remote areas and with the help of maps and aerial photos, I never got lost. Still have a very good sense of direction and location, even in cities.

That is oddly specific and really strange since I was just talking to someone about this the other day. Lol, now I am wondering if I ever posted it anywhere on the forums. It's been getting a little better but I break out in hives when I am in the sun too long, at its worst it could happen in as little as 5 minutes.

Several years ago we went with another couple to Jamaica….with a clothing prohibited beach. So the idea was to build up a base tan at a tanning salon since it was late June with the sun a few degrees from directly overhead. First visit to the salon, I didn’t burn, just broke out in rash, all over my body. By the time we finished our visit I developed a case of Myasthenia Gravis. Controlled with medication but a flare up every time I am exposed to intense sunlight.

Real shocker since I have a dark complexion and we spent many an hour at hot springs
and clothing optional beaches in the PNW. So I know what you mean…sorry. Never saw a post about UV on Hip.

I used to, not much anymore. Although, there is the cutest stone library in the village near where I live now. Getting a library card was the first thing I did when I got here. I read at home because it's more comfortable than the chairs they have available there.
