do girls have to have hair to be beutiful?

I got my hair shaved off last year because of my illness, i did'nt really have much choice i was going to lose it anyway, now i have a no.2 and i think it looks really smart and so do all my friends, But why do people give me hassle about it? i could be walking down the street minding my own buisness, then out of no-where someone will shout something at me about it. i mean it's just hair right. do you have to have hair to be beutiful? i don't think you do. sinade o connor is beutiful is'nt she?

 

I don't think you need hair to be beautiful at all! I believe it's what's inside that counts! (Sounds cheezy, but true!) God gives all of things for certain reasons, and the people that are making fun of you will soon find that out.
Keep your head up and stay strong! Your beauty will shine through no matter if you have hair or not.

 

Stay strong, girl, show them that beauty comes from within, nowhere else. You don't need hair to be beautifull, the people who make those comments are obviously uncomfortable about something in THEIR lives and so chose to take it out on you, don't let them upset you

 

well i will be honest, personally I like women with longer hair than shorter hair. It dosent mean that you wont be beautiful BUT most men do think longer hair is more pretty.

 

I think Sinead OConnor is a shining example of how beautiful a woman can be without much hair. Honestly, people just suck. I've been yelled at too, for no real reason - there are jerks out there who just like to hassle people and hair happens to be their topic of choice that day. It coulda been your pants or your shirt or your height... anything's mockable by jackasses.

I think shaved heads on women are beautiful. I don't know why people hold themselves in such a high esteem that they feel entitled to intrude in other people's lives in such a manner. It really says something about their character.

i've known a few girls who shaved their heads, and all of them were beautiful! i guess as with all hair styles, it suits some better than others... but they were all able to pull it off really well. just because some people think long hair is beautiful, that doesn't make baldness repulsive. beauty radiates from the individual, as cliche as that sounds. not all people will like it, but not all people like long hair, either. a confidant bald girl is way more beautiful than a long haired girl who is incredibly insecure.

and when people make comments, like the people on the street, don't pay them any mind. it's hard to do and can shake your confidance hearing it, but they're not the kind of people whose opinion matters. if their opinion is that shouting judgmental comments at girls is alright, then their opinion about hairstyles is also skewed, i'm sure. shouting rude things at strangers is much more ugly than any hairstyle, or lack thereof. besides, people like that are most likely cognitively impaired or drunk.

 

I don't think hair is essential for beauty. I do wonder about girls with beautiful hair though. How do they keep it like that?

Anyway, I think a shaved head is a very bold statement and original. i like originality.

 

i think it should be whats inside that counts =) but i have seen you in your gallery and you have a beautiful face............. it sucks people out in public are jerks but i think you are lovely =)

Anybody who would shout disparaging remarks about a bald person, not knowing if they are very ill - a real possibility, has SERIOUS character flaws. Ignore them, it is more than they deserve. And you are beautiful - great pictures~! You should put one up without the hood, we can be very support. Just ignore the trolls!

Hey everone, just wanted to but my head in my a moment, well, my head which now has hair on it....

I did purposely shave my hair back in sping of last year. Man I LOVED it!!!! And I want the hair on my head to go away! I didn't want it to grow back.

I did it for many reasons, but mostly in honor of my African ancestors. My mom treated me like a slave, very dishonoring, I got looks, some people asked if I was OK, meaning Cancer? But I loved every second of it because I felt like ME.

I actually have pictures of when it had just started to grow back alittle tiny bit, and I also saw pictures when it was completely gone, DAMN, it looked like I meant business.

 

A bald girl sounds exotic to me. Let the bangs grow out though, that looks cooler. "I'd hit that shit," provided of course that we were compatible. Actually come to think of it I did go out with a mostly bald girl once. She was very nice to me and we didn't last long but she was great in the sack.
