Sometimes When get a pimple it won't completly go away. It will lose the whitehead and go completly down but turn from zit to redish\purpleish scar that won't go away. What can I do to rid myself of these unsightly bastards?
buy some concealer, its a god-send. I have some to cover my evil pimple scars and it makes me look like a flawess sexy bitch.
a dab of hydrocortisone cream will help with the redness and swelling of the lesion, but you shouldn't use it regularly on your face. Try some benzoyl peroxide 2.5% gel, such as Neutrogena On The Spot Acne Treatment.
if you exfoliate well, they go away quicker. stay out of the sun... and if you really want to get one of those at home chemicle peel kits. they are gentler than the ones the dr uses and you only leave it on for 5 minutes. the key is to exfoliate regularly and use an moisturizer with vitamin E. but, make sure that you dont have any infected sore areas on your face before you use the peel. use neosporin(SP?) at the beginning.
