ok, i know technically how mj makes ur eyes red, it makes the blood vessels swell...im pretty sure. but neways, i was wondering, even if i take maybe 2 tokes, my eyes get all "chinky" as my (AZN) friend puts it hehe, and red. ppl ALWAYS can tell im stoned. i dont understand how weed can literally do that to your eyes...how can inhaling smoke make ur eyes heavy? arg!
People can probably tell that you're stoned by the way you act more than how red your eyes are. Of course, if it really is just the eyes, you could get some sunglasses, that'll do the job.
Maybe its just me, but i've come to realize that once you build up a high tolerance its not as noticable. Just carry some visine...
Visine works great for me! My eyes hang like a bitch with or with out it though. If you're going to get visine make sure it's hte one specified for red eyes.
Visine's my savior. You guys think getting red eyes from pot's annoying, I get real red eyes from alcohol. And I don't need to drink much to get it. I also get a red face from it, being half-Asian, although I don't yet know anyone Asian or otherwise who gets red eyes from booze.
my eyes dont seem to get red... jsut dilated pupils lol and thats funny... yeah alcho makes my eyes red too. more red than weed actually. anyway they go red because of teh blood vessels, but also because, smoke gets in your eyes when you smoke. also again, you usually tear when you start smoking caus crying is a natural reflex when a foregn substance enters your body, generally your lungs.
Marijuana does little to my eyes anymore. If I get REALLY high, they get a slight bit fat and closed, but not enough for anyone to notice.
visine wont reduce the swelled and relaxed blood vessels in the eyes but it will get rid of that red glaze. and thats the most noticable part. but just read the bottle it'll say " for redness in the eyes" or something
I always get red eye and eyes like slits it's part of the fun of being stoned. It's funny when teachers stare into my eyes when i'm baked and they know i'm high but they can't do anything .
my eyes get bloodshot when i smoke so i have a large supply (5 bottles currently) of visine extra strength. 4 or 5 drops in each eye does the trick...but man...when i'm baked...you'll know it for sure!
i recon if your takin a drug, you shudnt use other chemicals to mask certain effects of the drug. the blood vessels get bigger for a reason - blood flow is greater when high. if you get rid of the big blood vessels, you dont get rid of the big blood flow. think about it.
Dude, I think StonerBill might have a point there. It sure would make sense. Where is all that extra blood going? Its obvisouly not making anything pop, but doing it for years and years might actually have some negative effect. That makes me wonder. It doesnt really matter though because I love my glazey bloodshot eyes. :sunglasse
My eyes used to get red rather easily. Now I have to be really stoned for my eyes to get red. I just carry a bottle of Clear Eyes with me in case I need it. For some reason I've always prefered Clear Eyes to Visine. Like Bill Stein says, "Clear Eyes is awwwwesome".
I like clear eyes more as well. Visine makes my eyes glassy when I use it. I always have a clear eyes bottle on me.
