when my mom vacuums, i'm usually watching tv or playing PS2, so i just turn the volume up way high and i leave it at that volume even when shes done vacuumming.

That's a really good idea! My kids each have a little piggy bank with their names painted across them. I bet they would get a kick out of getting some extra change from mommy or daddy to put in for their work. ;) I'll have to try that one.

I love plastic containers too. I can't have enough of those. It seems like most of mine keep disappearing and being used for my 5 year old son's little toy parts and action figures. *lol*

Yay! I LOVE candles! I need some new ones around here because pretty much all of mine are done for.

Now you deserve to treat yourself for a job well done. ;)

    A little joke:

What's the difference between a wife and a maid?

    Answer:

The maid knows how to fuck and clean.

*Not so much of a joke as a life's observation.*

I love my candles. I'm buying some new candles tomorrow. Michaels craft stores is having a HUGE sale. Big candles for only $2.99. They smell really good. Not like Yankee candles but when they sit on the candle warmers they smell awesome.

Funky will Tommy be surprised when he comes home and sees the house looking spectacular?

Ooooh, I just might have to head out to Michael's and pick up some of those candles! That's an awesome deal for the big candles. I've had a few of those Yankee candles before, and those things lasted for ages. They really burn so well. They aren't exactly cheap though. ;)

All of those candle scents sound superb fitzy21, especially the warm apple pie! I had some type of apple dumpling one before and it always made everyone in my house hungry. *lol*

I went into mad cleaning mode at 9am this morning actually.....after finishing my night shift at work. Don't know why this should have happened after being up for around 15 hours previously.

I disinfected the kitchen, hoovered my bungalow (making sure to suck up all the cobbywebbs on my ceiling and stuff), and cleaned the glass panels I have over each door. Then I got a bit pooped and vegged out with a cuppa.

I'm generally a really messy person - I have shit everywhere, I never dust, and the washing up can usually build up in the kitchen for over 4 days, sometimes more if I'm feeling particularly lazy. Must be a turning of spring thing.......but I do admit I feel better walking around in a clean and relatively tidy place. :)
