    This is "The Card Game"

    It's Awesome.

All you need are a bunch of blank note cards and a couple of pens.

First, cut all the cards into two sections, one larger than the other. Now you will have two stacks of cards, the wider cards are defence cards, defence cards mainly give you points and protect you from attack, the narrow stack of cards are attack cards, attack cards do all sorts of nasty things to your opponents.

Now you need to pass out 5 of each type of card to each player. Every player draws and writes cards. Here are some examples from a deck I made with friends:

    ATTACK
    [IMG]

    DEFENCE
    [IMG]

As you can see, just about anything goes.

Now, when you've drawn your cards, shuffle them together (in seperate defence and attack stacks) with a bunch of blank cards. Now you're ready to play.

Set the cards in the middle of the table and every player draws two attack and two defence cards. Figure out a way to determine who goes first.

The first player plays a card, attack or defence, and enacts whatever is on the card. He draws to keep two of each card in his hand and it is the next player's turn. If the player has two blank cards of the same type (def or attack) he may create a new card with one of them, if the player doesn't want to or can't play something he can choose to discard a card for his turn.

The game ends when the cards run out, the winner is the player with the highest score (points can, and often do run into the negatives).

Every time you play just add blank cards and you will end up with a huge deck.

    Be creative and have fun!

sounds awesome... but i think you should add some "advanced" rules or something. but yeah, most of the folks in my area are pretty stupid, and would end up stabbing me in the chest and sacraficing my heart.

If you want more advanced rules go ahead and make them up yourself, I've had lots of fun games with these rules, it's the cards that make the game interesting.

Whats to stop players from going overboard with a blank.. like "Protect 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 points"

If they do that, then theyre sucking the fun out of the game. They should be politely reminded that you can always come up with a bigger number . Points should be directly proportionate to the nature of the attack

  6. attacks with any defence value +100 the perfect solution to any of those uber defense cards

All players draw from the same pile, so uber anything would be just as dangerous to the player who created it.
