People are putting way too much stock into the whole reputation thing. Don't worry about it. I saw a post here on the forums where someone was saying something along the lines of "blah blah blah you pissed me off blah blah blah, If I find you I'll give you bad reputation" Grow up. Serious second grade antics. Should you really care what someone thinks about you? Would you not conversate with someone on here because they had bad repution? This isn't a friggin popularity contest.
I don't mind feedback, good or bad. The "peasants" have no power on your points anyway, it would only be abused. They can just make comments. Is that Jesus doing the Hokey-Pokey in your signature?
I have to agree with him. People ARE worring to much about it. "Why didnt it count my reputation!?!" Fuck it man. Its a horrible way to establish a sort of chain of command thing. People are gonna put more stock in those with higher rep points. Its so frellin stupid. Thats why I have yet to rate one post. I don't believe in the system so I wont use it
I've always had trouble with these reputation thingies. At one point the Egyptians ruled. They had all kinds of strange gods - Romans had many many gods. Then I took overeth. Catholics venerated me. I must admit that my kid Jesus did a lot of good - we got to open a lots of stores and our main office got quiteth busy.
i like having that to give people good comments and stuff when i like their posts. i don't usually waste in on cranky feedback, that's just silly. chew their ass on the post if you don't like what they're saying.
it's really a bunch of nonsense, but i like reading mine, seeing what i said that someone liked or disliked. though i haven't really had any negative comments, just one.
I have it enabled for pure self-entertainment... 99% of the comments I get are negative, and some of them make me laugh my ass off
