Alrighty, Roly and i just had our mock art exams and this thread is to show you ugly lot what we managed to create... Our title for the exam was, Reveal and Conceal! Roly has more photos of her bits and my bits but.. heres a little taster of something i did... The idea was that theres signs everywhere, all around us posters telling us what to do.. very explicit and explainitary.. but what i have began to do is subvert this.. bu layering lots of things like posters/signs over each other their messages become concealed. Well... thats kinda my beginning ideas.. But when you see Rolys.. you'll all love it to pieces.. its beautiful and i really want on for myself! These are two smaller paintings i did, i did a much larger one also. Next i'm going to be exploring more into the process of making the picture.. so its not just a painting it has layers and textures etc.. Roly will come and explain hers to you lot soon!
