Been visiting alot of sites that are selling these systems...would anyone recommend hydroponics over soil?
NAMASTE I have tried both.Soil wins thumbs up.If as meangreen put tou want a larger yeild and that is all you are going for then do that.if you care about what you do as an art then soil and keep it organic at that.helps mothere earth and when your done you can ad the used soil to your garden.As far as tast goes hydro can and never will come to what is grow with soil.Mother nature or chem bud.Take it from those two stand points.
? are you guys saying regs are better than hydroponically grown weed? thats crazy. the reason a gram of hydro costs 20$ and you get like 3 grams of regs for that much is because hydro is a lot better in every way.
just because its grown in soil doesnt mean its regs ive smoked organic that has blown that chem tastin hydro out of the water. people always think that hydro means good its the same stuff just grown differently either way will grow the same it depends on how good you are at growin.

Lol... u said it man... Soil is definately better...I love how people pass bud down as "dro" and everyone automatically thinks its good bud.. It's like people think its a strain name or something, or has any basis to quality.. I'm sure the best bud most people have smoked, high/taste/smell wise is organic..I guess Hydro is better for dealers due to the high yields, but if you know what you're doing you can yield a shitload of better bud in organic.. If you want the real deal stick with organix.
Soil is better than hydroponics. However, if you decide to go with hydro, make your own don't buy one.
i dunno, ive smoked a lot of pot over the last 5 years and the only two types of weed ive seen offered around here by dealers are either hydroponically grown or soil grown regs. ive certainly had a lot of different types/qualities of pot - 'kind bud' and other types of seedless regs that were really great highs and plant... but compared to any of the hydoponically grown types ive seen offered around - 'white widow'/various types of 'haze' ... the high has always been *much* stronger then with soil grown weed. they are huge buds coated in hairs and crystals.. ive never had anything that tastes "chemical".. the taste is just stronger & the smoke is smoother. and i didnt say that i paid $20 for a gram of hydro, i have on the street before i got a regular dealer... 8ths of dro/good pot are $45-$50 for all buds, and thats what i usually get. if i were to sped $50 on regs i would get probly like a half ounce. i really dont care though, i just prefer to smoke hydroponically grown. i was drunk in that last post and had been up for a long time.
I know someone smoking dirt grown hindu-kush that kicks the shit out of the commercial "Hydro" in the east. The Northern lights that's starting to go around, too. Two people I know grow clones off the same plants and the dirt farmer stomps the hydro farmer in quaity everytime.
The hydro i get around here is pound-for-pound as good a buzz as what i can buy in amsterdam. I admit it is not as pretty to look at as what they sell over there but the buzz is just as good. I dont know if the method of growing it has anything to do with that or if its the seeds used. I thought the seed strain had more to do with the stuffs potency than how you grew it. I sure like the taste of my hydro though. tastes like flowers on a sunny day wrapped in a warm blanket of green dutch masters
