The Doors

I never really have paid attention to them besides their greatest hits stuff.

Yeah...The worst excuse for a rock band (almost) ever.

I naively decided to buy myself Strange Days today at the record store today, thinking that there's got to be something there if everybody's in love with the Doors. Right?

Heh..No.

Now, if you'll excuse me I have to go throw something at my stereo.

That's why I download a bunch of things before I pay for an album.

thank you...i really don't like the doors "light my fire" is ok, but it drags on..."break on throuhgh" is again ok, but not stellar..."the end" is good if yer depressed as shit

overrated, but the doors are still alright. I never listen to them anymore unless a friend is playing them.

They aren't really my cup of tea either because it seems everyone is ruining the entire band because of Jim Morrison's looks...

I'm listening to Primus right now. Tales From the Punch Bowl. I love Les Claypool's bass playing.

jim morrison is so much more than just looks
and their music is incrediable if you just took the time to listen to the lyrics
most music now a days (not that im saying all of its bad) but it means nothing
his lyrics have such deeper meaning
than just some 'rock band'

 

I really wish Oysterhead would tour or do another album... but Trey is touring with his band this year...

Meh, I guess it was an overstatement. I'm just really mad that I wasted money on something I didn't enjoy. I could have bought...food...or books...or maybe a new candle holder...

I couldn't care less if they were overrated. That's not what turns me on/off to music. Jim Morrison's voice just erks me..and I don't like the sound. I did pay attention to the lyrics...I always do...but...it's just so rudimentary compared to other bands. There's another whole sound out there just ready to be taken notice of, and it's so much better than the Doors.

Sorry if I shook anybody up, just my personal opinion.
