Hey what did you guys make today??? I wanna see pics of your work!! I made these for myself... Of course they are a little big now, I left room for my belly to get huge HAHA
Damn mama, you are a sewing machine (haha I re-read this and didn't mean any sort of pun)! I don't know how you make so much stuff with kiddos running around! My kids wouldn't 'let' me sew today hehe. I am working on a scrappy patchwork skirt, though. Hopefully when papa comes home, he'll occupy them for at least an hour before they are hanging on my skirt again. Cute shorts btw.
I didn't make these today, but I thought I'd share anyway. Excuse the mess! LOL! It's either clean my house, or sew. I choose to sew.
Oooh Sasha is soo cute! And I love those red and black pants! I made this originally for myself but I made em a bit big so I am going to sell them> I'm not picking my butt I swear!!
I'm WORKING on a present for my boyfriend. But since I'm sewing it all by hand (a pillow with pink hearts that I'm sewing on across the front) it might take me awhile. Everyone else's things are amazing!
Lenamarina...I'm not usually ga-ga over babies...but omg, that last picture of Sasha is soooooo adorable! And what a cute little pink hoodie!
Oh that sweater on Sasha is to precious and she looks too cute. Here is what I did today... it's not finished yet. I hand embroidered this butterfly onto a hemp tencel bodice of a dress that I am making.
i haven't made anything today, but i sewed some last night. i'm planning on cloth diapering the baby when he gets here, so i've been sewing some diapers.i love seeing all the stuff you guys have been making. i'm with cre, funky. how DO you find all that time to sew with kiddos? i'm all ears, lol. everyone keeps telling me that once the baby gets here, i'll never have time to do anything.
@ lenamarina: The red pants are great! @ Pharoah: The different fabric patches are wonderful! Looking so happy!!
This is my crochet top I finished today.. Picture is not the best but well I will post more when I get them
Yesterday I made a really cute knee-length skirt. The main part is light purple with darker purple flowers, white swirls, and little pink diamonds. It's really cute. Then I added in a triangle of white with green vines and purple, blue, and pink flowers. I used that for the tube to hold the elastic, too. Then to separate the elastic bit from the skirt part, I used a black ribbon. Sorry I don't have any pictures of it! My scanner doesn't work and I have no digital camera. Oh, and two weeks ago, I made a very bright patchwork skirt using all flowery materials in orange, turquoise, purple (same purple as the skirt described above) and pink. It's ankle-length and reversable. The other side is purple-blue batik. I love sewing!
a necklace i whipped up a few days ago! i love the bead. its currently for sale on my site http://sunnyseams.bravehost.com/ woohoo btw that crochet top is rockin!!!
I made this dress for Maddie today. It's not quite finished; I still have to hem it and adjust the waistline.
sugrmag and sugarmag, i love your stuff!! your kid is aDORable, and i love the glass bead!! that thing rocks!
