Oh well, thankfully I wouldn't need to line up at all since I don't eat meat. Strange though; we don't do anything like that here, it's just chocolate eggs and...well, that's pretty much it.
damned straight they were. i celebrated ostara two weekends ago with a campout on the beach. the bunny and the eggs are symbols of fertility, so the bunny hid eggs for my daughter and i got the fun of watching her be all excited. we aren't going anywhere, making a chicken like we always do on sundays.
I don't celebrate Easter... no.. but the rest of my family does, so I had to sometimes eat that egg or so
Today in my special easter basket my mom always makes us, I got a baseball glov ethat doesnt fit me. I dont know why i got one since the one I have is like brand new and a decent glove. Then a really cool Dora the Explorer battery toothbrush because im cool like that. And candy....
Exactly, which is why I never refer to holidays by their fake names or participate in their, "traditions."
Easter is pretty fun if you're a little kid hunting for eggs that you dipped and colored. I have some good memories but I agree, just another day that businesses look forward to so they can cash in....We had our own chickens and stuff though so it was all home grown. ahh the memories...
easter's not about all the eggs n shite, and for me it aint religious at all. but today i went down to the beach with my mum and her boyfriend, i stood at the end of this jetty thing, and looked out to see, spending a few precious moments with the people i care about. seriously guys, it's all bout ure family n shit, it's one of those few times in the year where no-one has to work, and no-one has to spend out on pointless gifts, so u can just take the time to chill.
