I posted this in Random Thoughts but thought this would be a good place to post too. What do you think?

I know this is almost an age-old question. But why is it that two women kissing is considered attractive? Girls kissing at parties, in front of polaroid cameras, because others urge them on... Is this a fad? I know my friends who have done this, are not gay (at least, i think they aren't) but do it simply because... well i don't know. Do 'real' lesbians find this somewhat insulting? I think this portrays women even more like sex objects... the fact that some girls usually do this for males viewing pleasure.

Personally, i am a guy just to say that but i belive the rise in popularity of lesbian guaking is caused by most guy's homophobia. Because lesbian anything shows no dick and to a lot of men their can be no representation of being gay.

No offense but a clitoris is nothing more but a small "penis"

They are made from the same tissue, and to pleasure it you can stroke and suck it the same way you would a penis. Frankly it's not a wonder many men have no clue how to pleasure a woman cause porn teaches them that orally pleasuring a woman is done by stimulating the vagina lips (which tissue is the same as men's balls) and ignoring the clit!

I hope my post is not too crude lol :D

Well, it's almost every guy's fantasy to be with two women. IF you ask them, that will be a popular answer. But I think that a lot of girls will do something like this for attention from the guys they like. And most girls aren't as grossed out or insecure as guys when it comes to viewing public affection with the same gender. I know guys who won't watch hetero porn because there's cocks in them. granted, they're doing things with women, but it doesn't change the fact that it's a guy there. And these insecure little boys don't want to even THINK of another guy doing anything remotely sexual.

I can't speak for girls as I'm not one. But I do know of girls from school that would come out as bisexual for the attention. And they end up getting the attention they want as a result.

It's amazing how much a same sex kiss can be shocking to people. There was an episode of some stupid show called the OC on a few weeks back where they keep announcing "you don't want to miss the last 5 minutes" while showing a girl about to kiss another girl on the beach. Well, I had to know how they would portray this on TV if it was supposed to be this "you can't miss" experience. Well, I tuned in during the last 5 minutes and they were on the beach and they went through with the kiss. My first thought was "why is this somethign I can't miss? Why do we still see this as shocking?" I was thoroughly disappointed that they would hype up something like this just to get guys to watch the show. It had nothing to do with gay rights or a positive look on homosexuality. It was pure titilation. I haven't watched that show since.

I caught just a clip of the lesbian relationship between Misha Barton on The OC and the new girl, and there's zero chemistry between them. really pointless if you ask me

And I don't blame some guys for not wanting to look at straight porn, because men are portrayed like animals and brutes in a lot of it. It cannot make anyone like guys.

Oh it's ridiculous. I had my first same sex experiences when I got to college, but I was looking for a relationship too, not just this mess. Although one girl I was almost with WAS just that sexual.... Kinda sucked cause I really liked her but she was just after the sex. Everyone else was just after the makeing out and attention. Kinda irritating when you're looking for something more meaningful :/. Oh well...no biggie since I found my meaningful in my sweetie a few years later anyway, but still annoying as all hell at the time.
