Thanks...It will work out how it's supposed to, I guess. We've planned to meet up for a weekend sometime in April...really general as of now....we'll see where it goes from there.

But thanks for everyone's encouraging thoughts. It's nice to know that there are others that feel the same (well, it's not nice to feel this way *laughs*, but you know what I mean...).

Oh and thanks, Michael....I AM crazy...I knew it.

You certainly can't appreciate the good times unless you've experienced the bad....ahhh, the yin and yang of life...

    DancerAnnie,

I can completely relate. So glad I came across your post as I was thinking about exactly the same problem just now.

I work with a guy (who happens to be my boss - errr not good!!) and fancy him like mad. He's 2 years older than me. What with it being a work situation I know I have to be careful, but I occasionally flirt with him when I manage to gather up the confidence but usually end up getting butterflies around him and hence find myself keeping my distance. I can't really be myself at work, especially around him. Infact the only time I relax at work is when he isn't in on certain days.

I constantly think about him. A few months ago I even had trouble sleeping because of him and felt I was going mad. My feelings have calmed down recently, but whenever I have a spare moment I think about him. For instance, what he's doing now, what he does in his spare time, what his family/friends are like and of course what he's like in bed!! No need to mention that one! :p

Despite having the hots for him, I can't quite work him out though. We don't talk much on a one to one and when we do, sometimes he can be really sweet. Other times he comes across as rather standoffish. So you can be talking away to him and he'll cut in and change the subject. He is difficult to talk to or rather difficult to get to know.

The only things I know about him are through my colleagues and I have found out he is getting married in 6 months!! Trust me to like someone who is already taken!

I know my morals and I keep saying to myself "don't even go there". So I try to suppress my feelings but then out of the blue he will do something that will make me interested again. For example I was talking to a colleague about work and my boss was standing close by listening. I said something to my colleague and then I turned to him and caught him checking me out. His eyes then moved up to meet mine and he wasn't just looking at me normally. He was looking at me with a twinkle in his eye. It was enough to send my heart racing and felt myself getting hot and going red. I then tried to carry on talking to my colleague but I was talking to her as if I was distracted by something.

When it comes to this guy for all I know he could hate me and be playing a game, or fancy the pants off me but doesn't know what to do. I just don't know.

If any guys out there can give their perspective on this (and girls too), I'd really appreciate it.

Ack, I know how you feel (as do many others on here). Just distance is not a factor in mine. It sucks, and hurts and blah.

    I hope everything works out.

I feel for you too~~ the guy I like I met over the internet (first time that's ever happened :p ) and we haven't met in person yet but we're going to meet up in august and go to a festival together... and in the meanwhile I just can't get him outta my mind, I'm dying for some physical contact :p He's inspired me so much already that I just can't wait to actually chill with him and be able to see him right in front of me... man distance is rough~~~and responsibilities and lack of money make it even harder to meet up.
