I just watched this movie last night and I thought it was really beautiful. Sure there wasn't really any dialogue, but it didn't need any. Besides, I could look at Scarlett Johansson for hours... Anyone else seen it?
i loooove colin firth. and cillian murphy's not bad either. that scene where he tells her to lick her lips is probably the most subtly erotic scene i've ever seen in a film.
I liked it. I thought it was pretty subtle and I usually like period pieces,,,Scarlett J was the definition of meek in that movie, pretty good role.
I was trying to think of the word for this movie, and "subtle" is definitely the word I was looking for. My opinion is that it is unwise to compare movies to the book. Movies are only very very rarely better than the book they were based off of. ('Jaws' is a movie that was immensely better than the crappy book)
