i visit montreal often. tam tams seem to have started up, to a small degree. what a pleasure it was to listen to the bangin of those drums! also, thanks to this forum, i ate at a wonderful restaurant, le vivre. i remember someone had mentioned it a while back. if you haven't heard of it- it's a whole foods vegan restaurant...delish!
