Why is it that the more dumb & stupid a person is;the more they are into sex?

I am an intellectual & I have forgotten the last time I had sex.

You only need to have sex to create babies or keep your wife from going with the man next door.

I used to work with a guy who couldn't read or write very well but was always going on about Sex.

No I don't see what u mean. First of all u called urself an intellectual, 1st mistake. I mean who does that?! If u were really and intellectual u wouldn't have to talk about it & would be smart enough to know that. 2nd I consider sex an intimate art, something oh so beautiful when done with love. Many of doctors will tell u that sex is good for u, and its a good thing to have n ur life (granted u take proper precautions when needed--condoms, birth control, etc.) All ur post tells me is that ur some loser who never gets laid & is mighty bitter. Losen up a bit, and let go off that "I'm intellectual BS" u might enjoy life a bit better.

 

Personally, I think that he just needs laid. It's a crying shame that he can't remember the last time he made love.

I think it was more to make a point rather than to brag. How is assuming you are an intellectual a mistake? If you are offended by it I have no idea why. Do you not consider yourself an intellectual. With your high school degree?

No, I did NOT I say that! I think I'm just the average run of the mill person, so please don't assume shit about me. Also I can't help what age I am..I'm old enough to be graduating high school this yr. (At least I'm doing that) & I'm proud to say I will be going to college next yr. to further my education! U can't hold age against someone.
Anyways, I just hear ppl. thow around that intellectual BS all the time....& I really don't think that word has any meaning anymore. I mean the villiage idiot now a days calls himself an intellectual. I'm tired of ppl. saying...."b/c i'm a intellectual I know this & I do that" ! Also note that I just don't agree with him!

 

Reread my post, I didn't assume anything about you. Merely asked questions.

And you could have just said in the beginning that you don't agree with him. That seems much more civil and gets the point across faster. He can think that you can disagree. Simple. Also I have yet to come across a situation where I've seen age NOT make a difference in any aspect of things. Maturity/intellectuality/etc. is all an opinion of any given person, never a fact. I'm just going off of what people write.

If the topic starter were actually an intellectual he would base a statement like this on more than 1 guy he talked to....instead he is making a giant leap.

 

Perhaps he's using that as an example and was too lazy to type out multiple instances of cases "proving" his theory.

A true intellectual would take the time to fully think out his response, and have more than a random encounter to back it up with.

Also he seems to be implying that people in Britain have less sex than other places, which is simply not true (believe me, I was 22 in England once )

so.... because I like sex, I'm dumb and stupid.... the 89 and 86 I got in archaeology and anthropology in university couldn't possibly suggest otherwise. Nor could having gotten honours all through high school in an advanced program. riiiiiight. Just sounds like you're bitter hon. Like others have said, an "intellectual" would have at least tried to provide some backup of their opinion, like facts or experiences.

 

I rather agree with the first poster- but with a twist.

In my experience the dumber a person is, the more vocal they are about how often they have sex/do drugs/ other "promiscuous" things to get attention. I've never met a slut (and by slut I mean a girl who dresses skimpy and brags about sleeping around, or a guy who brags about sleeping around) who wasn't dumb as a rock.

That's not to say that intellectual people don't enjoy the same things, but they just prefer to gain attention in other ways. Like me, I consider myself an intellectual (and yes you CAN call yourself an intellectual- it means you love learning for the sake of learning) and I enjoy sexual things, but I'm not going to go around bragging to anything that moves about how many blow jobs I've given or anything because I prefer to get attention as being the "smart" one rather than the "easy" one.

The dumbest people I know are also the most openly horny. It's quite easy to corrolate the two.
