I've heard a few songs by them. In your opinion, which album should I get first? I've heard Ice Queen is popular, but isn't there one called Mother Earth or is that just a song? I think Nightwish has a bit better musicianship, but W.T. is very cool.
Within temptation are awesome!! Sharon Den Adel is such an amazing singer. I love that kind of music to bits - symphonic goth metal. Ice Queen is an amazing song and the entire mother earth album is awesome. You should check out their version of running up that hill!!! It has to be heard to be believed it is soooo good!! Within Temptation are okay. At least not as annoying as that Tarja woman from Nightwish *shudder*. I saw them live once (know friends who saw them seven or eight or so times though) and when they played Ice queen I got slightly emotional, which doesn't happen often at concerts with me. Awesome show. Mother earth is a great song too. I don't know much about their material at all but I do have their latest album on my computer. Don't listen to it often enough, I think.

Wow, that's cool. When I can finally play drums reasonably and I got myself a (black metal, hopefully) band I hope we can do weird covers too (and act totally un-black metal for that manner), but unfortunately most black metal enthousiasts are way too damn serious about it. It would be cool to play Boudewijn de Groot's "Mijnheer de president" or maybe Ritchie Haven's "Handsome Johnny" before an audience used to music that glorifies war and death. Followed by Kylie Minogue's "Can't get you out of my head", Hanson's "Mmmbop", Atlanta Rhythm Section's "Jesus Hearted People" and loads more. And of course our own unorthodox stuff. Lucky you! You are right, the UK is part of Europe but when it comes to bands like Within Temptation and new album releases, the rest of Europe gets a headstart nearly always everytime! I live in Glasgow and it really kinda sucks sometimes! lol. I love Holland! Ive been there a couple of times and its a really cool place. peace and love xxxxxxxxx
Sucks you get everything later, dont know why that is. Its not like it takes less effort to bring an album to Spain than it does to the UK. What places in Holland have you visited?
