Yep, they've got a new singer, can't remember who it is. It should be George Michael, his performance of Somebody To Love is bloody brilliant. I think it was with Queen at Live Aid, not sure though.

Queen without Freddie Mercury?! That doesn't sound promising in any way.

Its the guy from Free. I don't know wat his name is but he sang with them onthe UK music hall of fame thing and they decided they would go on tour.

he's no freddie mercury but I think it would be pretty good to go see Queen live.

They say George Michael is pretty damn good, though. Brian May is still with them, at least...

Brian and Roger are going out on tour in Europe at the moment with Paul Rodgers, formally of Free and Bad Company as frontman.

It's not a "greatest hits" tour.. They're going out to play together because they've found that they love playing together and they're musicians, so...

I'm going to see them twice in the next few months and I can't wait as Paul is probably my favourite vocalist and I love Queen and Brian's guitar playing.

Yea regardless of them performing without Freddie Mercury it would still be great to see them live since alot of young fans out there weren't even alive or old enough to be in elementary school when they performed on tour last in the 80's. Is this just a European tour or is there any hope that they'll come perform in the U.S.?

No one can replace Freddie Mercury, going on tour without him would be like the doors without Jim Morrison, Nirvana without Kurt Cobain, The Jimi Hendrix Experience without Jimi Hendrix.....

Wow, hearing this made me sad. Queen was so utterly amazing and unique the way it was: Freddy, Brian, John & Roger. Always the same lineup on every album, on every tour. Now it's just Brian & Roger with 2 new dudes? That's NOT Queen! They should've called it something else. Imagine if Paul McCartney & Ringo got together and called themselves The Beatles. That just aint right.

 It's about the music, not some sentimental bullshit.. Life goes on.

    Music lives forever!

2 other dudes? lol Do you people not know who Paul Rodgers is?

Echoing how Brian introduced him at their first performance at the UK Music Hall Of Fame..

"Please welcome with us.. Our hero and our friend.. Mr Paul Rodgers!"

Ahh, I don't care what people think.. At least I've got a brain and know this is something different.. Good old fashioned rock and roll is back in town! I'm going to enjoy every minute of it!! :H

    I second that go jim!!

A true fan would not care if it was only half of queen.. they would just be overjoyed about the fact they can see some of their heros live again

Paul isn't replacing Freddie either.. it is Billed as Queen plus Paul Rodgers... a mixture of queen/free and bad company songs...

From what I've heard from reports of their last 2 shows, it has been outstanding.. and from people who were dead set about it came back totally with a change of heart.. as they rocked:H

I'm sure Freddie Is rockin in heaven right now.. as Paul was one of his favorites...

Anyway.. I'm just sick of the negativity.. Embrase it people.. as jim said.. Its all about the Music

ROck on!! one month to go :H

ye i heard they are going on tour. i think it was quite clever to do it with George Micheal, rather than try get someone like Freddie Mercury, after all there is no body like Freddie Mercury
