do you guys decorate your sites at festivals to make them stick out.... Bonnaroo was so frickin big we had too, we still took about an hour to find it every time we went back LOL!!!!!!!! I am looking for new ideas, i have done windsocks, windchimes, streamers, swirly flowers! anything a little more creative????????????????????????
balooons.....sarongs....i hang lots of tapestries and have baloons in the air.....this year at Wakarusa i will be decorating the shit out of camp site....
I pull up my subaru wagon, and make it my sleeping quarters. Hard to miss it when I'm done, lol~* I have a cover I made to completely cover it so the sun doesnt beat in and bake me, and for privacy, and I hang a coupla tapestries from the hatch so when i wanna chill and be private, I just put them down too and light candles inside. The car cover is a paisley design and mostly bright yellow. There's two pics of her on the second page of my gallery from a show in Herrodsville KY a coupla years ago.
gdhmomchild your site looks sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am gonna make a big irie flag this year to carry around =)
((((((( yall ))))))) it is!! been known to have friends crash in w/ me too, hehe. I love my pillows...sucker fer comfort and lazier than having to throw my tent up. I usually use the tent to store food outta the rain and friends that dont make it back to thier camp. I did loose a campsite one year, dunno how, lol, it was four vehicless, a two room yellow tent, and a jackolantern on top a the caddy and a firepit...I ended up crashing with friends 100 yards away, LOL ~*All good!*~(damn spunions! hehe)
I made a tie dye flag the other night, and I'm going to put a big peace sign in the center. I figured it would be way easier to locate our tent if we had a flag flyin... I hate walking around and around and around and not being able to find your place!! Plus it's easier to say "meet us at the tent with the flag" when you meet cool people. I'll have to try to post a pic for you all to see... anyway, I need ideas on how to put it up at our campsite. We are backpacking to roo and can only take what we can carry, and a large pole probably won't be something we can easily bring with us... any ideas on how to put it up (and keep it up so it doesn't blow away)??? Thanks!!!
