hi everyone not trying to sound stupid but can u smoke poppy seeds or do anything with them to get a high on? I found 77 grams of them in the kitchen and i was just wondering...

you can make tea from dried poppy pods to get off, but you can't make anything from the seeds that will do much of anything unless you're lucky and have eaten them in LAAAAAAAAAAARGE amounts. the seeds themselves do not produce or ordinarily contain opium, but if you -happened- to stumble upon relatively fresh seeds that haven't been washed or toasted, you -may- find some trace amounts of opium (dried sap from inside the pod) on the seeds. but i wouldn't count on it, and you would need such a large amount of them even then that it would not be worth it.
