i play valve trombone too...i wish i could get it from the band room...havent played in a couple years...twould be fun

 

I played slide trombone... haha, I just used to memorize the positions or improvise it and my director would get pissed because I could do it perfectly that way, but I refused to learn "the proper way", so one day I walked out and went to guidance and never came back. I left my trombone there till the end of the year when I snuck in while nobody was in there.

 

yea i play trombone too... learned how to read the music too though... trombones pretty easy.. and i dont plan on being in a shitty ska band so I pretty much dropped it... I bet I could still play trombone if I bothered... learning guitar, and drums and my vocals are starting to sound like the guy from As I Lay Dying...

 

i played a valve one cause i learned bariton first...

 

Yeah, I started out with trumpet though... bleh.

Hey orsino do you know how to read music? I was never taught and my guitar teacher seems not to be interested into teaching me..All I know is tab.. The cheating way out haha.. I want to learn though GRR

I don't bother with reading music. I don't even read tablatures for the most part.

 

I started playing guitar a long time ago and quit becasue I started playing the drums and my guitar teacher taught me...
