help on one hitter construction

i just built a one hitter today out of a pen shaft and the pen tip. but i used hot glue to seal the cap on the tube. now when i smoke it, the metal of the pen tip heats up and melts the glue. any suggestions on another adhesive that isnt too difficult to get ahold of?

 

tin foil and a tolit paper roll just cut a hole in the top of the roll and shape a bowl out of the foil and cover one end and suck for the other trust me it works

 

yeah i have done that before, but this one i built i want to be like just a regular portable little one hitter which it would be if the glue would quit melting

 

use a heat proof epoxy (the 24 hr grey stuff) hot glue by it's very nature melts when it gets hot.

 

So you basically smoked glue.

 

lol the beauty of these one hitters is that you dont need glue. You need those semi nice pens with metal tips and they come apart into three pieces (the metal tip, the shaft and the back part). All you have to do is take the metal tip and jam it into the shaft as hard as you can until its stuck far enough in that its air tight. You have to push really hard to get it in there but once its stuck its in thier for ever.

 

You can get a decent one hitter for under $20. Why bother constructing one?

 

i wouldnt use any glue if its heating up enough to melt; most glues are flamable.

 

btw what is the definition of "one hitter"? is it just a compact pipe?

 

dont smoke out of glue or plastic dude, thats stupid. a piece of bamboo or a carrot, drill and carve some wood, use some metal. dont use foil either, and be careful what metal you use. when i was in a pinch i would use a big glass bead. go to Micheals or soem other craft store, and find a big cheap glass bead.

why would you smoke out of a pen? you can get metal pipes for dirt dirt cheap, even if they aren't great they're still better than plastic...
