problem getting onto hipforums

i'm having a problem getting onto hipforums lately. right now i'm on a proxy server. i keep getting the page that says i can't find the server. i used both IE and Firefox and both won't connect to the site. i can access any other site on the internet for the most part. so i know my network port isn't off. its only for this site that i can't get into. i can get onto the site from my roomates computer and from computers from the computer labs on campus. its only my computer that won't connect. so i'm on this proxy server. if you guys know any solution for this, thanks in advance. this is really pissing me off.

the proxy is what allows me to get onto the site. otherwise i can't get onto here. if i just open IE or Firefox, without using the proxy and type in http://www.hipforums.com i'll get a message saying i can't connect to the server.

 

use a different proxy server?

 

try going through hiipyland.com instead of hipforums.com
