Hiya...i made these groovy shorts in the last few days..i finally finished them tonight.. they have a drawstring w/ bias tape...2 expandable cargo pockets and front pockets.... they are soooo comfy and light..perfect for the upcoming festival season!!
those are sweet. i wish i could sport cargo pants, they look really stupid on me though. pants aside though, I LOVE YOUR SHIRT!!!!!!!!!!
thanks for the props ladies..i am really proud of these pants..i just keep getting better and more efficent at sewing and it is such a great feeling.. I LUV THE SHIRT TOO..i came from urban outfiters..i had a gift certificate for that store left over from christmas...i never heard of it .. i guess it's real popular...but this was the only item in there that was worth buying..well that and a fab cord blazer w/ embroidery for ten bucks...*only cuz there is a minor hole in it* anyhow..the shirt says music is my business... then below it ...in smaller print it says living the good life.. FABULOUS FIND! i would have never spent the 28 dollars on it if i wasn't for that gift certificate..yay for christmas..
Oh i know..i'm not really so much into stripes..but the colors are amazing..that is why i bought the fabric..that and it was only 2 dollars a yard...bias tape, thread, and velcro i already had on hand... yup that's right..i made these shorts for less than five bucks!!!
