As a single mommy I have no choice but to work but I feel the same about leaving my son. I won't do it if I don't have to. Now, I work full time in a small day care center. My son is in my class. Its a great arrangement. WHen he was smaller I worked in a consignment shop that specialized in kids stuff. I could handle the cash register and putter around the store with him in a backpack or playing with toys on the floor. I also am a freelance writer and copyeditor. I work when he's sleep. Had
