i dont know if anyone has made a thread on this yet, but does anyone else feel this way about Tom Petty? He's not the hottest guy, but omg his music is soo amazing. I just have always loved everything he has done. The Wildflower cd is one of my favorites. My only dream is for him to go back on tour... i know he's older now but he still sounds amazing i bet. If anyone knows if he's going on tour, please let me know!!
But let me get to the point and rooooooooll another joint, turn the radio loud im tooo alone to be proud~You dont know how it feels I love that song. Tom Petty is really good. Also love Mary Jane's Last Dance
i went to an open mic night friday and all of a sudden one of my friends started "But let me get to the...." and about 5 other people joined in (includin myself) and finished of "....and rooolll another joint" crazy loud, since it was bettween songs alot of people started starin. it was fun ***Lol i just realized this thread is composed entirely of people livin in PA
lmao, he has some of the best music to smoke to. A great dylan/roger mcguinn/CSN/byrds/beatles influence in his music...
watsup everyone, im from PA too, i think hes actually touring really soon. I never really got taht into him but i like wat i heard
I always liked Tom Petty... But Once I saw him in concert It made me love him!!! Amazing!!! Absolutly Amazing!!!
Not from PA but close, WV, and you guys are in luck, Tom Petty will be at Post Gavette Pavillion June 15th with The Black Crows....hopefully I get to go! But Petty rocks...i love him...my parents had some of his CD's but lost them...
ha, I just thought it was cool enough that "roll another joint" hit the mainstream airwaves. Just poppy enough, yet still retaining an edge.
ha, sorry for the double but we def "got the point" and I think alot of people did. How bout ol' Tom in The Postman "I used to be a rockstar, now I'm the mayor of this town", something like that anyway, I just thought it was cool. Would love to catch em' live, never have.
I adore Tom Petty, I have been lucky enough to see him three times. And each time was unbelieveable...
