I'm going to college next year in the coolest city ever and I'll be 4 hours from home. I'm so excited. Just felt like sharings
CofC? Eeeek... I looked there (it's like about 4 hours away from me, too) and it was so uber preppy that it annoyed me. The big deal they made about sororities and fraternities really irked me. More time was spent on that during the tour than on anything else! *still fuming about the stupid tour thing* But, hey, good luck--and nice to see another South Carolinian.
Yeah I would have thought that too, but I know this girl who went there and she's really preppy. She's leaving this year bc there's too many hippies there. That's what made me decide to go. Plus, I have to go in state and it definately beats USC and Clemson.
Ah. Yeah, if you have to go in state, then C of C is the best, I suppose. I thought it was pretty expensive for an in state school. I mean, I looked and looked and then I realized that most of the SC schools' in-state tuition was the same as Appalachian State's out-of-state tuition, and that's what sold me. But really... Too many hippies in Charleston. Who'd've thunk it?
I really wanted to go to Appalachian State!! Lucky you if you're going there...Anyway for me it's cheaper to go in-state because I get Life scholarship and C of C is giving me $1000 a year.
Yeah, I'm going there this fall. Woo! Why did you end up not going? I didn't qualify for the life scholarship because I'm graduating as a junior. *rolls eyes* They were like "Uh, yeah, this is for SENIORS. You can get it after your freshman year of college." So, no financial aid, no scholarships... I figured I was screwed either way, so I may as well choose a school I like.
