I just started watching this show and I'm freaking addicted to it.... It's on really late every night and I always force myself to stay up and watch it haha..... (If only I knew how to use my vcr....) They always have to leave the episode "to be continued..." so it keeps sucking me in..... Anyone else like this show?
my sister's completely sucked into that show. Since we moved and there's no cable, she's been glued to the computer readin' her stories. I saw an ep last week, it was kinda funny
Has anyone else found this show to be particularly sexual.... I only watched one episode, but it was littered with inuendo... there was a cave with pink walls that went to the belly of the mother earth or some shit... it was clearly a vagina... characters are shown in poses that resemble sexual acts and positions, there was tons of heavy breathing and shit.... i really think its soft core porn for little anime kids
I volunteer for the local library for their "Teen Anime Night" program, and they have shown Inuyasha for that. Frankly, I don't really like anime at all, I just like helping out.
something about the show really grates on my nerves, i'm not sure what or why. anime's never really been my thing anyway, but i figured since it's adult swim it was worth a try... but, eh, i just can't do it. most shows i'm apathetic about; inuyasha is one of the few i really dislike. hate, even. even the commercials make my skin crawl. i think it might be the chicks voice (shudder) at least, in part. ugh, there's just something awful about it. sorry to not be of much help. haha, but i wish i was more apathetic towards it and didn't find it so annoying because it seems like it's always on. always. especially when nothing else is. oh well... maybe i'm missing something. or the girls voice is just too annoying to get past? either way, i'm not trying to insult your tastes, so don't take what i saw personally. thats just my thoughts on it.
Oh yeah. Anime is notorius for this type of smoldering sexuality. (No wonder my 16 year old, who is a bit intimidated by boys and sexuality, is so enthralled with it.)
I like the show. Of course, I'm taken with REAL Japanese mythology, so that sort of guarentees I'm an anime dork. Personally, I think the little sexual references are pretty funny.
