    What exactly would Tool be considered as?

    I think Tool defines themselves, Saliva maybe a little more trendy and might fit in some sort of label but not sure, and I'm sure that's helped a great deal :)

    at a store you'd find it under rock/pop..... they really gotta start beign more specific... break it down... cuz tool should be under anything but "pop" *shudders*.. thats just disrespect in its self

    Saliva and TooL shouldn't even be compared. Unless your talking about TooL's album "Salival" which was my least favorite of them all, even though it has my favorite song from TooL on it. And as for soulrebels opinion of TooL, I would piss on it if I could, but since he's entitled to his opinion, I say no more

    I wasn't comparing them, I just don't know what genre either are and I'm filing my music by genre Tool is definently a million-bijillion times better
    How 'bout Tenacious D?

    I was lookin' for something more specific....

    I agree they aren't that good but I really like, like 4 of their songs

    not all of their stuff (just most)
