GR. ... i have a pair of long shorts that i really like, and i wanna add panels/patchwork to the sides.. but there's a pocket in the way! thats the side of the shorts see? that pocket being there causes some problems... could i maybe take the pocket out? or something else? if i cant do patchwork, what else could i do to these shorts to make em phat?? cause they are just boring ol kakis at the moment... i need to spice em up! any ideas ladies (and men!)?
could you post a pic of em? I would try and carefully cut the pocket out with your seam ripper. You could always recycle it by sewing it back on after you've phatified your pants.
I had a pair of pants with that I cut the pocket off with the seam ripper... The only problem was the way the denim was washed... The part of jeans under the pocket was darker than the rest of the material...
hmmm.... i think ill just try and do the panels and just cut through the pocket.. we'll see, this'll be an experiment!
