Says it doesn't feel like Thanksgiving in there and they aren't getting a thanksgiving dinner, just pumpkin pie with the regularly scheduled meal. He works in the music room and says that there are about 60 guys in the music program learning how to play instruments. They need song books because the prison doesn't give them anything. He requested Beatles, Stones, or anyreally good song books. So if you can get it together to buy some for him it would be great. Books and magazines must be mailed to him from a publisher or a book store (address below). If you mail them in they will be returned. The only thing he can receive directly from you are donations to his commissary fund and since he has no money anything anyone can send is greatly appreciated. All donations need to be in the form of a postal money order withhis name and number on them. Thanks for looking after our brother's who are down. There are a lot of needs inside and not too many resources. You are making miricles happen for these people and i personally send all my apreciations. I did a little time from 00 to 03 for getting too chummy with uncle sid. And didn't see a lot of support. It was mainly because it is so hard to contact anyone from the inside. my phone book was hijacked by the sister i was with(no doubt so she could carry on after i was gone.) and finding folks was super difficult. I met a few rainbows inside (a very few) and did my best to live by love. I wrote a novel ( a love story about the sister i was with when the whole thing went down.) Don't misunderstand me. I'm not bitter at all. I learneed there many things that i would never have learned anywhere else. I got to know myself lol. but i am under no illusions that it was anyones fault but my own. I was not helping the family or humanity or any of that shit. I was helping myself. and i got what i got. I will say that it was by far the worst experience of my life. and that's why i'm cautious about returning to the road this summer. I went to ocala shortly after i got out in 04 and realized how thick babylon was on me. As strong as my will and heart could be, that placed changed me. that is the tragedy, not the time lost (what is time?) but the peices of myself that were destroyed, sanded away by that envirement. I've met so many with good hearts that won't make it out or when they do will be so corrupted by the justice system that they will never be right again. Me. I thank god every day that they did not completely destroy my spirit.and am ready for some hard healing. both of myself and of others through sharing my experiences. what does that mean !!!! thats fucked up as for my brothers in lock-up i did plenty of time and learned from all my mistakes my heart goes out to them cause if your not in a group your an outcast in the prison system and you dont find to many rainbows doing hard time or not where i was locked up in PA wandering turnup brother i dont have all that much money but i am going to try an write the brother a letter at least it ment so much to me when i would get a letter from the outside world so i know it would mean a great deal to him its just a sad thing when they got to throw the good people in the fucked up prison system all my love best wishes and blessin to all my brother and sisters in lock-up we all miss youmeasa

you know hippiestead some people arent rainbow, its screwed up they would come and make a bunch of noise on our site. anyone in jail deserves a little reconition, they are still human. we may love everybody but we dont have to like everybody. people who have attiude such as relayers usally end up in jail and see how much love they get.

Yo, be nice guys, please. Cinnamom want to keep the Rainbow lines in possi-vibe. We all know that some folks do stuff that makes other folks mad; but sometimes there's a good reason, sometimes not, & sometimes it's simply a matter of differing opinions, which is part of Rainbow, can't have one without all the colors. I know of a time when a kitchen was asked to shut down its spring cuz the latrine was too close; they didn't, it rained & feces ran into the spring. Rather than have a Gathering of sick folks, 'bandits' came & 'stole' the plumbing. The story circulated around into many rumors, some not so nice. Times when one individual starts to threaten the safety of others, they are removed from the Gathering; turned over to the police if they've commited a truely harmful crime. Rainbows have differing opinions on drug crimes, so some may concider folks who partake to be criminals, but that is not an "Aquarian Rule' meaning it's better to find other folks to hang with if you're on a different trip. Rainbow is a wide world trip, folks from all walks. As far as the Family behind Bars goes, if they got the 'secret leader' ticket, be kind, no matter what your personal feelings are, or just don't say anything. Keep the personal stuff to private circles, please; it's much kinder. If someone(s) would like to keep us updated on other Family doing the 'secret leader' time we'd be happy to maintain a thread with the 'Secret Leader All Expense Paid Vacation' info (addresses & whatnot); maybe a second thread could be started with an 'other' crimes' header. Remember, how can we convince the feds that we have no leaders if we don't support those who went down for us. Nationals are just around the corner, ask for your own private 'secret leader' ticket, enough folks do it & we might make some headway!
Aren't we all secret leaders, I mean, ain't nobody tellin' us what to do; and we only ask other folks to do things. "Hey, over here, man, I'm a secret leader!" "Yeah, me too." "I want my ticket!" I wanna see what the feddies do if they had a couple a hundred Rainbows demanding their secret leader tickets. Since the installation of the '75 rule' the ticket thing is getting worse every year; more jail time, more $$$$, something's gotta change.
