Here are some pics of my latest project. Thanks to everyone who helped me out with my bobbin problem. My daughter took the pics, so I hope they are okay. I made these out of an old pair of cords that my super skinny friend was going to throw out because they had a stain. I cut them up, sewed in some panels and covered up the stain with an applique. I just sewed in the panels and added the applique. I lucked out on the fabric, it was on sale buy 1 meter, get 2 free. I love the fabric, it has a retro-70's style to it. I have lots left over, do you wanna do a trade for a panel skirt or something?
Not very hard. Just take some extra too small pants, rip out the seams on the outside of the leg and sew in some panels. You can use just a strip of fabric, or do patches. The applique was a bit difficult, but it was my first try.
