AAHAHA... omg.. I just noticed that after reading that and looking at the "bugger off" comment. I don't even realize it sometimes. I talk like that, sometimes... it's really strange... if I speak fast, it'll generally sound like I'm from the US and sound slightly southern, but sometimes when I speak slow, it's rather britishy, at times. It's strange, because my aunt came here from North Dakota and was like "Holy shit, there's so many people who almost sound British" and my dad was like "That's just how some people talk and act around here because of all the descended colonial loyalists"... lotsa history behind it all. Rich families would go to boarding schools and exchange programs abroad and would acquire the accent. The poorer families would copy the accent so it became this really weird virginia thing. Out sounds like "oat" if you listen to people closely around here...
