I like Chasing Amy, Dogma, Mall Rats, and Clerks. Dogma is probably my favorite. I didn't like that shit monster though. I like the part in Chacing Amy when good ol' Silent Bob does his monolague. It's the most i ever heard Kevin Smith say. My favorite charictor is Jay, because he reminds me of my bf who is also coincidentally named Jay.

The Golgothan, yeah that was gross.
I love Jay, hilarous yet gross at the same time.
The thing about Silent Bob is that everytime he speaks it is supposed to be profound.
I have Clerks, Mall Rats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and Jersey Girl.

    Favourite movie: Dogma

Favourite thing about his directing: It's honest. It's real. It's the humour that you find in situations where you are just sitting and shooting the shit with your friends.

Favourite Scene: The showdown with the shitmonster...hehe...:p

Favourite Character: Silent Bob (okay, so maybe I just think Kevin Smith is not only a genius but hott as well :p)

He did an excellent re-make, or re-edit, of the Star Wars Episode I movies. He took deleted scenes, added some of his own, and completely revamped the subtitles, to make it enjoyable, gritty, and one hell of a star wars movie. The movie went from an immature, and poorly acted kids movie, to a harsh realistic, Lost Generation-esque type flick.

I really suggest everyone pick it up. Its called,

Episode I: The Balance of the Force

Yeah, I have to agree with Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back to being the worst. I think I like Mallrats and Chasing Amy the best, although it's been a long time since I saw Dogma. I remember really liking it but I don't remember too much about it. I'll have to check it again.
Yeah, I like his movies cuz they're honest. I also like how he puts himself in the movie but doesn't say too much. He's probably my favorite character, although I really like Jason Lee as well, both in Mallrats and Chasing Amy.

Clerks is the best and I don't think I can say that any of them are bad (not even compared to each other). Brody and Randall are my favorite characters.

What is your favorite? Clerks is the best. There is almost no debate on that. It's the funniest, most clever, and it just feels like Kevin to me. Though, I have to say, I've found a majority of his work to be superb.

What do you like about his style of directing? There isn't really anything special about his directing, without his writing he'd be nothing. That's where he shines.

What are your favorite scenes? I have quite a few, lol. I'd have to say that "the book" sequence with the hitch-hiker (George Carlin) and the Nun (Carrie Fisher) was brilliant.

Which character is your favorite? Randal. He's the kind of guy that defines the whole "Slacker" generation. He's smart as hell, but is willing to waste away in a video store because it's easy.

Yeah, I have to say Clerks has to most recognizable quirks and charachters created by Keven Smith. I love George Carlin in his movies, though... That's the only real thing missing, haha.
