WARNING NOT WORK SAFE PICTURES OF GIVING BIRTH. Strictly speaking this is not porn but it does feature female nudity.

    I WARNED YOU

    http://www.birthdiaries.com/diary/63vbirth.htm

I found this link that shows exactly what happens when a woman gives birth. It certainly isn't like it is on TV. After seeing the pain that she must have gone through having my head burst through her crotch like an alien it gives you a whole new respect for what it means to bear this burden. Along with a new appreciation of contraceptives and condoms...

This is probably the worst of them

Yeah, I had mirrors positioned, so I could see myself better. That's called "real life".

We are not zip-lock bags, what did you expect? :D

They never show the baby's head popping out on TV and I had no idea some parents cook and eat the placenta.

Wow.... I had no idea there was that much blood. That looks too painful, I'm so sacred to have a child.

It's kind of funny how you see hair one minute than a great big head sitting on top of your crotch the next lol. (I pick the most iinopportune times to laugh and I'll just bet the doctor will think I had too much medication.)

Wow...oh man, no kids for me...ever...lol.

It's kinda cool and kinda weird at the same time how they let their two young sons watch. I wonder what they thought of it all.

i think i would do that... well maybe not at home, but i would have my entire family (if i had other kids) there to witness the process.. i think it would be a real learning experience for everyone, espeically the kids, because they would learn, even though this probably isnt the strongest point in the mother's life, the dad is still there for her, and that he still thinks she is beautiful...

Thanks for sharing those links. They are soo beautiful. I wasn't privileged to witness the birth of my daughter due to having a c-section but I was able to see my son born because I had him vaginally and they had mirrors set up so I could see. I plan to deliver this baby vaginally as well so I will get to view the miracle of birth one more time. :)

I'm starting to think that I want to be a midwife. I was present at several births in my family, I know quite a bit about how normal pregnancies progress, and there is nothing better than helping bring new life into this world.

When I have my own children, I want to have homebirths, surrounded by loving, caring individuals, and things I am comfortable with.

But as a whole, the entire experience looks so miraculous and worth it.
