I think ive found a band member. what do you say, we can wear matching dresses, take the world by storm!
Good call! That's how I learned to play harp, starting with the Beatles, then Dylan, after which I (re)discovered blues, and occasionally even some progressive jazz. My first harmonica was a special Hohner Beatles edition that I bought for half-price ($1.50) in 1965. If I still had it today, it would be worth "several" times that, but who knew?!
singing isn't that hard, unless you're tone-deaf. The ability to match pitch is about the most important aspect of vocalizing, and if your ear can't tell you if you're in tune or not your singing is going to be off key and sound bad. An ear can be trained though.
truthfully, though most people can teach themselves to sing, and will be trained well, technically sing well....there is a certain amount of natural talent that makes an amazing singer
um, i wouldn't suggest loud as the best way to hit all the notes at all, especially at either end of your range. Pushing your voice to far generally makes the note you are singing go flat...
i love singing infront of people. i have two types of singing voices, i can do the soft melodic metzo (spelling?) suprano, or i can do the low alto voice that is common used in rock music. i am blessed to be able to do both, becuase most can't. i have been taking singing class in school for three years
ive found singing live is the best.. its almost as if the fact that theres an audience pushes my voice in tune lol
When I first started singing in public, I was terrified. I couldn't hold my microphone because then people could see how badly I was shaking. Now, there's nothing I'd rather do. It's also fun in the recording studio. I cannot WAIT to record again! I can't stand listening to my own voice though.
Singing seems natural to me, its probally because i don't get tense, i realax when i sing, even when i sing intense, you need to sing from your gut, alot of people try to sing through their nose, and this producess a bad sound, maybe first do some humming or chants and then go like up the notes. I dunno dude you gotta figure out how to sing for yourself its a gift some have it and some dont
