What do you think is the best RECENT scary movie that has the best meaning to it? I really thought that Dragonfly was sweet. It wasnt really scary but it was meant to be. It was great i thought.

I'm not sure exactly when you mean by "recent". But, I'll try and guage it. Besides, I can only think of one, and it's from 2000. "The Cell", both brilliant and suspensful. Also, the only J.Lo performance I've liked so far.

I know I'm forgetting a few. I'll definitely be back to edit this.

EDIT: What am I, retarded? I completely forgot two of my favorite movies. The Ring + Ringu (Japanese Version). Both great, eerie, suspenful, and innovative films. I recomend everyone see both versions.

House of 1,000 Corpses was pretty good too. Plus, Freddy vs. Jason, it wasn't very scary, but it was definitely entertaining. Saw would've been great if it wasn't for the terrible acting.

In case you're wondering, yes I have seen The Grudge, Hide & Seek, Boogeyman, etc, etc. They are complete garbage.

I think that's a Hong Kong horror flick called The Eye. I saw bits and pieces of it a while back, not too shabby. Also, I forgot Cabin Fever. That movie ruled. :D
