OK, here's the deal. I haven't said anything to anyone because it's embarrassing and gross but I'm worried and dunno where else to go.
So about a week ago, I started getting REALLY bad pains 'down there'. So, as you do, I got a mirror and checked myself out, and my clit was swollen to, like, twice it's size. I thought maybe I'd banged it on something somehow without noticing (oh the power of denial).
It kept getting worse and it hurt so bad that I could barely stand up and walking or moving my legs almost made me cry cos of the pain.
Then I woke up one morning and it was bleeding and it hurt SO badly. It wasn't my period cos I wasn't due, and it wasn't... in the right place. You know what I mean.
Anyway, I had LONG bath and the pain's gone now and the bleeding, although one side of my vagina is still slightly swollen and really bruised.
I need serious health advice from WOMEN!
What was it? Should I go to the doctor, even though it's cleared up?

do you mean your clit was bleeding? I don't know what it could be, I'm sorry, but I would say definitely go to the doctor, even if it seems to be over. Its better to be on the safe side. :)

Go to the doctor. Had you been doing anything unusual like riding bikes for long distances, or riding horses? Get your hood pierced? Weird.

Yeah, definitely go see a doctor. That's not normal.
    Good luck!
