Just a few hours since the date of the election was finally confirmed and the media has gone mad ... It's so The Day Today it hurts... BBC six o'clock news has a special Election Bus, Newsnight has a special Election Chopper borrowed off Mike Smith (if only it had been Noel Edmonds), And I haven't even seen any ITV news yet ... but they are usually the worst for Day Today style computer graphics, I bet they'll have a whole virtual representation of the country and call it a really high tech and futuristic name like the Electomap...
