today i was at a rodeo and everyone was chearing for the rider but im thinking ok why chear for the rider he doesnt have his nuts tied in a rope and spurs stabbing his side and an insane lunatic on his back... so i promptly started cheering for the animals and soon those in my area started doing the same lol. tonight the bulls destroyed the humans not one guy could hold on to a bull for 8 seconds lol.
that doesnt sound like the bulls winning a bull winning would probly have someone attached to its horns
what crummy yummi said. (for the sake of my own survival i tend not to atend rodeos! - actualy i don't find man vs critter very interesting, nor the underying presumptions very palatable, but even if it weren't for the latter, the former still applies. actualy all conflict and nearly all competition i tend to find tedius as they seldom demostrate what i would consider or be able to appreaciate as any sort of creative expression) - leave the wild creatures in the wild and stop destroying their homes. harrasing domestic livestock to induce psuedo wild behavior is just plane tediusly gratuitous. being outside with creatures is fine though. i just think the rodeo idea is goofier then hell. i've known some poeple in it who seemed mostly harmless so i don't mean to judge them particularly. i just can live just fine without it though. -
i ALWAYS root for the animal. few things in this world gratify me more than to see the animal win. if some dumb fuck is stupid enough to get in there and harass the animal, then he needs to get stomped. i don't mind the horse-rider oriented activities, those horses really seem to have the greatest time at it, with their partners. but to be honest, and he cannot explain it, dave cannot see a calf without wanting to jump on it and wrestle it to the ground. sheesh. i did watch this animal rights activist forget that the bull she was trying to protect was doing well enough on its own. she got stomped, too. it's not like the bull knows there's a difference. you gotta respect animals, man.
It reminds me of the good ol'days. Lions against Christians. It would always end up the lions winning. It ended 2847 to 0 for the lions. They always winded up eating the Christians. No Christians ever ate a lion...
